27/09/2023 - WHAT TEACHING IS THIS?

Then His disciples asked Him, saying, “What does this parable mean?”  Luke 8.9

The closer we are to the Lord, the more lessons we will learn. He, in His wisdom, created the world and everything in it. When He teaches us something, the Lord surprises us with His wonderful way of ministering. Those who learn from Jesus are given power over the forces of darkness and the evils they bring to mankind (Luke 10.19). We are delighted to be taught by Someone as special as our God.

We are talking about the Being who created everything from nothing with such perfection! In the face of this achievement, we are speechless and almost without action! So, if you lack wisdom, don’t hesitate to ask the Father for this great instruction, as James said: If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all men liberally, and without reproach; and it will be given to him (James 1.5). With this promise in your heart, pray for this gift and believe that you have received it!

Jesus had mentioned the seed planted in good soil, which produced an astronomical amount of ten thousand percent. Next, He explained how we should serve Him in order to live well:  When He had said these things He cried, “He who has ears to hear, let him hear (Luke 8.8b). Besides saving, the Son of God came to teach us about the Father and how to lead us to the divine power to operate in our lives and in our midst.

According to Christ, the secret is in the way we listen to divine instruction: Therefore take heed how you hear. For whoever has, to him more will be given; and whoever does not have, even what he seems to have will be taken from him (Luke 8.18).  In saying this, the Savior was not referring to the process of perceiving the sound of words by hearing, but the ability to meditate on His statements. If we act in this way, we will always have the right direction to resolve any issue. God is good!

The disciples did not understand the teaching, why did some problems prevent them from understanding it? Actually, they lacked the understanding that faith comes when one meditates on the Word. By doing so, we are enlightened. The Bible declares: For with You is the fountain of life; in Your light we see light (Psalm 36.9). What a good God we have, isn’t that true? Love Him and you will be loved!

As one can see throughout the Bible, especially in the Gospels, the Lord never uses difficult language to teach us. He uses everyday facts to enlighten our soul. The Lord acts in this way, so that everyone understands how they can solve their dilemmas (Psalm 119.105). You see, God has planned our lives as well as our minds, so He knows how we can have His help at all times. Believe!

In the same way, when you are in doubt about the meaning of some new topic that the Lord shows you, approach Him in prayer and ask Him for an explanation of that content. Whoever wants to win must always come before the Savior; then they will learn how to proceed correctly in an unfamiliar situation. God is pleased to help us, because He knows that we can do nothing without Him. Ask Him, and be enlightened!

In Christ, with love,

God, Friend and Teacher! The simplicity of Jesus moves us and makes us wise when we seek Him to solve what bothers us. Acting this way, we are 100% right. We must leave behind the things of darkness and always please You. In You, we will not be confused!

People need to learn to reach out to You, to solve their lack of wisdom and power. Only then will they overcome the onslaughts of the enemy. Those who seek You and trust in You will never be put to shame. Your honor and glory will follow us!

We want to know You better so that we can live in Your presence and enjoy Your knowledge. We must take advantage of Your ability to understand what is necessary. Thus, we will never lose a single battle. Help us to really love You!
