Yet regard the prayer of Your servant and his supplication, O Lord my God, and listen to the cry and the prayer which Your servant is praying before You:    2 Chronicles 6:19

All things change in the life of the person who is able to understand the will of God and, then, dedicate themselves to doing it. The Scriptures declare what the Most High requires of us and what He will do for us. Just examine them, so that you will obtain the understanding that will completely change your life. Praying just for the sake of it will lead you nowhere, but if you cry out under the inspiration of the Lord, yes. After asking God, make Him listen to you and see your decision; then, prepare yourself to serve Him.

It’s no use to pray day and night, in any which way, for the Lord to bless you. The moment you realize what your attitude must be like against the evil that oppresses you and you are willing to eradicate it in the Name of Jesus, do so correctly. In the biblical example the Lord uses to talk to you, you will understand what you need to do. It cannot go wrong if you act by faith and according to the direction proposed by the Most High.

Salomon understood this and, in the consecration of the temple, he prayed to God intensely. While you don’t surrender to the divine plan and then cry out from deep within your heart and make the right decision, you will not be answered. The Lord can only give to those who ask, but ask well. Understand this: if your reasons are not in accordance with God´s, how will He be able to work? Don’t forget that you are servant, and He is the Lord.

After crying out, the son of David began to speak under inspiration, asking for him to be heard. Now, those who are enlightened by the Word and pray about what was revealed to them, speak words that the Most High delights in listening to. After the prayer, the time to hear and speak to the Father comes. It is a time of dialogue, in which we are guided step by step. The anointing over you gives you the capacity to speak what is right and therefore be answered.

When God listens to us, He gives us the condition to keep His statutes – set of rules that embellish us and prepare us to fulfill all of His will. By following such teachings, your voice will have the necessary power to be heard in Heaven. Be sensible to the Word and change your behavior. Then, when you least expect, you will be used by the Lord.

When you discover the will of the Most High, the phase to seek His help to accomplish what you were ordered begins. Pay attention to the testimony that will be given to you when you hear or read the Bible, for, with the real and continuous participation of the Holy Spirit, you will do the work like Jesus would do if He were in your place. Don’t have anybody as an idol, even if this person has been tremendously used. After all, the work that God gives you is unique in all things.

Be careful not to do your work, but that which the Almighty revealed to you in the Scriptures. Don’t be trapped to the dead letter, but accept the testimony of the Spirit and follow Him.  Those who earn 10 by himself would earn 300, 600 or a thousand if they obey the biblical recommendations. Why accept less, isn’t that true?

In Christ, with love,

R. R. Soares

Oh God! You contemplate the one who listens to You through the Word. Soon, those who pay attention to You are prepared to fulfill Your purpose. Therefore, we come before You to accomplish Your beautiful plan.

We cry out for Your help in order to answer well Your proposals. Now we have a North, Your direction. Then, we will do what You command. May Your will prevail for You to be glorified as God.

Give us the means to fulfill Your statutes, so that Your work may walk firmly, according to Your plan. Deliver us from the temptation that tries to take us away from the right path. We only have one will: Yours!
