Consider now, for the LORD has chosen you to build a house for the sanctuary; be strong, and do it.”  1 Chronicles 28.10

When we begin to fulfill God’s will, we must look and record everything that is shown to us, to follow exactly the pattern shown. In this way, He will be pleased with our work. We must never be afraid or consider ourselves incapable; otherwise, we will cause God’s wrath. We are His servants used to show for eternity that we were worth saving. So, see how you act under the inspiration of the Most High.

Observe the revelations of the Word, for you only have one chance to get it right. Do not go beyond the teachings of the Bible (2 John 9). Whoever is indifferent about the work to be done leaves a trail of evil deeds. The person who does the work without love will not succeed in their endeavors. The Lord required Moses to do as he was shown (Exodus 25:40). Likewise, the Almighty will examine our performance in His holy harvest.

The Father is demanding, for He knows how to teach those He commissioned to do the job the right way. Now, when you feel incapable, tell it to God. He will instruct you to pray: And if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and does not cast it in his face, and it will be given him (James 1:5). Understand: it doesn’t matter what you were in the past, but what you will be from now in the Lord’s hands!

We do not know the reason why we were chosen, but God knows it well. I learned early on in my faith that it doesn’t matter what mission I am assigned to; if I pray, the Father will give me the resources to carry it out. It is good to live at the Lord’s feet, because the days are evil (Ephesians 5:16), and many become evil overnight. Persevere in the Word you have received; after all, it has power to help you obey God. Follow His guidance!

Solomon was called to build God’s sanctuary, and he would have divine assistance in everything from the measurements of the building to the various materials. Even details of how it would look on the outside as well as the inside would be specified to him. We have to be servants whose objective is to look into the Lord’s hands. Then, He uses us whenever and however He wants!

David’s son would have to do only one thing: strive to do as he was told. Otherwise, he would be useless. In the same way, we cannot evangelize based on the ability of someone considered to be wise, who teaches how to be successful. Don’t be influenced by human appearances or propaganda; bringing strange fire to God´s altar is wrong. Never use wood, straw and hay (1 Corinthians 3:12-15).

In any situation, never leave God’s work unfinished. Solomon listened well to what he was told, because he knew he would be held accountable for the results on Judgment Day. Don’t do the work in sin! It is better to be a good member sitting in the pew of the church than a bad pastor. Failing to give God the due glory to His holy Name is to err completely. Watch and pray!

In Christ, with love,

God of our choice! What a privilege to be called to do Your work. Even before our conception, You had already planned our shape and the other things with which we would come into the world. Thank You for loving us like this!

Where do You want us to act in Your house, what kind of work are we to do for Your glory and honor? Reveal us Your will, that we may accomplish it; every detail is important. We give You glory for everything!

It is good to know that we have Your beautiful help, Your love, and Your understanding that we are flesh. But we are willing to do our part in fulfilling Your plan of salvation. Thank You for calling us!
