Do not marvel that I said to you, ‘You must be born again.’ John 3:7

Man was disconnected from God on account of Adam having sinned and would forever be lost.  The sentence had been pronounced and there would be no way of turning back.  This is why Jesus had to come to the world to take our place, live like us, without ever sinning, and redeem us from our vain acts and practices.  Now we do not have to submit to the evil tricks.  We will be forever with the Lord in Glory.  Halleluiah!

When God spoke to Adam and Eve, who saw themselves naked and ashamed in the presence of the Almighty, they tried to hide themselves.  However, the Lord had already drawn up a salvation plan for the adamic race.  This redemption is a reality for all, but the Gospel has to be preached to all.  Then, accepting Jesus as Savior, they will be forgiven and delivered from eternal condemnation.  Everything is prepared!

The time grew long and during this period, man showed his incapacity to dwell with the Lord, unless he was recreated.  His nature was completely evil and no matter how hard he tried he could not comply to divine will.  The human being was eternally separated from God.  However, Jesus went to the cross and took upon himself all our iniquities and transgressions, redeeming us for the Father.  In this way salvation has reached us.

Christ paid the price for our happiness and joy.  He was lashed, spat upon, had his beard pulled off, heard insults and faced the most shameful death.  The Son of the Most High withstood everything in love for our sake, delivered us forever from the forces of darkness and bought us, not with gold or silver, but with His precious blood.  Now we are delivered and free in every way.

Everyone that is born to this world must hear the sweet message of the Gospel.  Then having heard the Word and walking in the instructions of the Scriptures, they will be born again.  There is no more guilt, all pain and illnesses were taken by Him and by His wounds we were healed (Isaiah 53:4,5). God showed His fidelity by doing exactly as promised and will continue to be faithful as He will honor all promises to us and concerning us. 

Nicodemus was marveled with the prospect of a new birth. 

But reasoning from the human standpoint he tried to imagine how could an adult enter his mother’s womb and be born again.  In the same manner, those who were not yet formed in Christ cannot understand this.  Verify your position before God and convert yourself.  Thus your sins will be erased and you will understand what it is to be born again. 

When born again, our past history is wiped out and we become new creatures in Jesus, with nothing due in responsibility for the sins committed before being saved.  Therefore be firm in your faith in the Son of God and persist in seeking and following Him. In due time, you will see there is no condemnation against you, since being in Christ all requirements for salvation were fulfilled.
