You shall not bow down to their gods, nor serve them, nor do according to their works; but you shall utterly overthrow them and completely break down their sacred pillars. Exodus 23:24

It is very sad to see someone that knows the Word, but has no understanding of it. The Lord made it very clear to the Israelites that they should not bow down before the gods of the people of Canaan.  Nevertheless, when God said: “Go up and take possession of the land of the Amorites” the Israelites feared for the resistance they would find.  The Lord had given them a command, but they preferred to obey the demons of fear.

Something very similar has happened to the Christians today.  Some that are not connected to the Almighty seek counsel and direction from people, who might even be successful in some way.  After hearing the suggestion, they turn their backs to God, doing exactly what they should not.  Many have suffered due to this and to make matters worse, pray with no faith and then when nothing is resolved they confess they do not know why there was no answer.

We must bow only to the Son of God.  To respect the image of the wicked is condemned by the Word (Proverbs 18:5), and the greatest wicked of all is the devil, since the very beginning.  If the Lord commands us to do something, we must do so immediately, even if it does not seem right.  Why be led by the lies of the enemy if the Truth, that frees, heals, transforms and prospers is on our side?

Do not even look at what Satan teaches the people in the world.  Otherwise you will neglect the best Example: the beloved Savior.  Jesus taught us to do as He did.  Therefore, when we worship God, we cannot imitate prayers whose authors we don’t even know, but certainly had the hand of the devil behind them. Why repeat and recite words that come from the devil, if we have the Psalms, that are prayers inspired by the Lord?

Our purpose is to destroy the works of evil.  This does not entail going to places where cults are held and break images, alters, etc.  No!  In the Old Testament, there is an image of what must happen among us.  The destruction expected by the Most High is conducted by our cries, when we intercede for the lost, in order for the Lord to pull them away from sin and lead them to Truth.  This is pleasing to God!

Jesus was precisely correct when He said that all that we connect and bind here on Earth would be also in Heaven (Matthew 16:19). When you are in communion, perceive what God ordains you to do during the crying out.  Then in the presence of the Divine, pray with faith and determination, demanding the destruction of all those things that were consecrated to the enemy.  Then believe because the Lord will work wonders with His invincible  power. Halleluiah!

Never fear the gods of the adversaries, because they are nothing more than devils defeated and destroyed by the Lord Christ in His death.  The evil spirits were stripped by the Lord of their power that they had stolen from the men that they oppressed.  Night is gone and day is breaking (Romans 13:12). There has never been such a good time to do works as now.  What do you say?
