So He said to them, “This kind can come out by nothing but prayer and fasting.

Mark 9:29

The ministry of deliverance of the oppressed was started by the Lord Jesus. Before Him there never was (and there never will be) the possibility of someone being set free from demonic oppression without using His name. Since the death of the apostles, the evil one managed to “spiritualize” the Church so that it would no longer believe in the need of casting out evil. However, he who accepts religious modernisms suffers at the hands of the demons that he should expel.

In fact, none of God’s children should be fooled by Satan, who has caused many servants of the Lord find it inappropriate to expel demons! People who think so are being deceived by the same serpent that caused Eve to stumble (Genesis 3:1), but this was not the teaching that Jesus left us.

One of the disguises of the devil is to transform into an angel of light – in understanding. By the way, that is how he has managed to deceive many people. Every work purportedly of God, but not in accordance with the pattern set by the Lord, is definitely not from Him because the Most High is not the author of confusion (I Corinthians 14:33). What His Word teaches is the only way to go.

We are authorized by Jesus to cast out demons in His name. However, there is a kind that will not obey our command if it is not preceded by prayer and fasting. Through prayer, we make amends with the Lord, and with fasting we restrain the flesh (because being in the flesh keeps us from being more available to the Father). He who does not consecrate himself to God cannot expel this kind of evil spirit.

If your problem has not been solved, how about believing in what the Lord has taught and seek Him through prayer and fasting? In the past, major victories were achieved in this way. If you are consecrated, you will find out that even the toughest demons cannot resist your command once it is issued by a true servant of God.

When the Church takes its position in the divine work, the unclean spirits are cast out and people receive healing, deliverance and sanctification. However, wherever there is sin there is also a hidden demon. Temptations never overcome those who are in communion with the Lord, for He promises to honor the word of His servant.

The secret to a victorious spiritual life is to follow the guidance of the Master: pray and fast because in so doing no demon will resist your order. The Lord expects His children to be ready to serve Him without disobedience because such attitude draws them away from the Father

Nothing compares to the pleasure of being used in the deliverance of those who are oppressed by Satan!
