Woe to those who devise iniquity, and work out evil on their beds! At morning light they practice it, because it is in the power of their hand.

Micah 2:1

Every form of sin comes from the devil, and those who surrender to error will weep bitterly for the evil committed against the Lord. There is no sin more heinous in His sight than the worship of false gods. This is the case of Samaria, for example, which took to the worship of demons (I Kings 13:32), and also of Jerusalem, that ended up doing the same thing (Jeremiah 13:25) and as a result the preparation for the captivity was completed.

The children of Israel were brought out of Egypt to become private property of the Lord (I Peter 2:9). But when Jeroboam divided the kingdom, he then hurried to institute the worship of evil spirits in the Holy Land (I Kings 12:32). There were people who confronted him and as a consequence the land was tainted with the operation of those forces. The demons do not always require a blatant service to them because then people would be afraid and shun them.

The liberal doctrines that arise every day have made people change the focus of the search for God; many of these innovations are nothing less than works of the enemy. Definitely, it is not necessary to modernize the Gospel to the point of ridiculing it or emulating fads that should not be adopted to fill the churches. Bear this in mind: the worldly practices that are embedded in the religious world are schemes of the devil.

Jesus said that he who is born of the flesh is flesh (John 3:6). So, if people are not born again by the preaching of the Word and through the work of the Holy Spirit, it means there was no work of God in them. The pyrotechnic shows in which the gifts of a singer, the eloquence of a preacher or other resources are used to attract people’s attention are not able to produce a single conversion. To the law and to the testimony! If they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them (Isaiah 8:20).

Beware of what you think in your bed because that is where the devil most likes to act. He presents the “advantages” of having an extramarital relationship, but then only shame remains. The enemy is a master at leading people to the path of moral and spiritual corruption; by the way, spiritual prostitution was what the devil did in the beginning when he was still the anointed angel-cherub (Ezekiel 28:14). He drew a third of the angels with him (Revelation 12:4).

Actually you only fall because in your mind you have already been carried away by temptation. So flee from the offers that contradict the will of the Lord. God has called you to be His for eternity; however, if you continue in sin, you are doomed to perdition. Even if the life span on earth lasted millions of years, sin would not pay off because it leads to eternal perdition.
