Then those who feared the LORD spoke to one another, and the LORD listened and heard them; so a book of remembrance was written before Him for those who fear the LORD and who meditate on His name. Malachi 3:16

Malachi was used by God to let us know that the Lord writes down everything we speak. Those who serve Him religiously don’t please Him, but those who serve Him in spirit and in truth do. Those who have a mental faith and a false merciful appearance don’t live the truth, but even so, they question God why He doesn’t hear them. The wicked always find a reason to do what they do; however, only those who fear the Lord most high are accepted before God.

Be aware! The enemy can transform himself into an angel of light (2 Co. 11:14). This means that his works will look like God’s. Don’t lose the opportunity of chasing those whom you betrayed and asking them for forgiveness. It is always best to get rid of sin as soon as possible, so that it doesn’t harden your heart; many times people don’t confess their sins because of their pride. Free yourself from your sins before it’s too late.

The Israelites used to compare their spiritual success to their material success, and therefore, they concluded that serving God was useless. Today, those who are dominated by the devil come up with the same conclusion; many people are “keeping” the divine commandments just for their own benefits. The wicked stand apart from sin in order to get something back from the Lord; they don’t realize that to live a holy life is the best thing human beings can do.

Don’t think that all those who are rich are happy, well succeeded and blessed. Those who don’t serve the Lord according to the Biblical principles are completely unhappy. Don’t envy those who are living in sin, even if they are prospering; for their attitudes are driving them to Satan’s hands. Be a servant of the Lord most high at all times. Never take the Word for granted.

The Lord has a book in which He writes down everything we say and do. The people of God share with each other what the Father has given them; that’s why their acts are registered. The Almighty one listens to those who respect Him and bow before His presence. Because they remember His name, they become powerful. The divine favor will always be at their disposal, because they please the Lord most high completely.

Let the Lord be pleased with you. He guarantees you that on judgment day He will spare your life. So why not become His single treasure? The day is coming when the Lord shall divide us between those who serve Him and those who are wicked (Ml. 4:1). Fight and overcome temptation, so that you may be amongst the redeemed.
