You shall break them with a rod of iron; You shall dash them to pieces like a potter’s vessel. Psalm 2:9

We have an adversary in the devil and we should not take this lightly. His purpose is to steal, kill and destroy and his aim is to draw you away from God’s presence, leading you to enchantment with his deceiving promises, destroying even your own name. No one should fear him, for everything he wreaks on the Christians is to the purpose that each one does not discover who they are in Christ or the power they possess in the Lord.

One thing everyone should know is that the devil has no mercy and does not measure any limit to work his complete destruction against any human. He knows his end is near and thus behaves like a lunatic in all the Earth, in order to take with him as many as possible to the lake of fire and sulfur. His sentence has already been declared and when Jesus returns he will be thrown into the endless abyss. Halleluiah!

We always have to speak gently to God, never offending Him. Should anyone do this, this is an absurd mistake and transgression. On the other hand, when addressing the enemy, speak with authority and a firm voice and tone of command, demanding he take only what is his and beat a hasty retreat. There is not one instance when a devil does not obey an order given in the Name of Jesus. Victory is ours!

Every time you rebuke a demon with God’s word, he takes a serious beating because the Holy Scripture is like a rod of iron with which we reduce to pieces the one who tries to oppress us and cause us to sin, setting traps for us to be bound and enslaved. On being tempted use the iron rod – the Word – and deal the enemy the biggest beating he has ever received.

Do not rebuke evil without quoting the Scriptures; otherwise you will not be using the iron rod. Whenever you feel the devil is tempting you, use the Name of Jesus immediately confessing what God says about that temptation. This way he will unlatch from his position as oppressor and will flee from your presence. The devil had his rod but it was broken when Jesus defeated him at the Cross. Our victory is secured!

The seventy disciples that were told to heal the sick had discovered that the evil spirits would obey them. When He said this, Jesus told them He could see Satan falling from Heaven (Luke 10:16-20). With ever greater number of sanctified people in all the world, the devil is suffering defeat all the time and falls constantly. Every time you make a good decision, the enemy is defeated and due to this, your victory is assured. Just use your authority in the Name of Jesus!

Don’t let Satan creep up softly, thinking he didn’t come to cause you any harm. Use the authority you have in the Name of Jesus and be delivered from the devil and his evil. If Christ said we can win, why not follow His direction? Turn the enemy and his ideas into crumbs and make shreds of his strength.

In Christ, with Love,

Lord! As Your servants we have to follow Your directions and carry them out. We will never cease to obey You. With Your rod of iron we will be freed from the kingdom of darkness.

We don’t know how the rod shreds the devil to pieces, but under Your command, we will be free from temptations and will honor You. Help us to use the right tool.

Teach us to act as Your judges on Earth, giving us prudence in fulfilling your tasks. The works of the devil have to be exploded to pieces, decimating his infernal schemes to shreds.
