22/06/2019 - RECIPE FOR PROSPERITY

So your barns will be filled with plenty, And your vats will overflow with new wine.  Proverbs 3:10

The previous verse gives us the recipe for prosperity, saying that the Lord must be honored with our wealth and the first fruits of our revenue. The Word speaks not of sacrifices to be made but of the pleasures which should flood us for honoring the One who created us, has sustained us and crowned us with glory and honor. We must obey the Most High because He is perfect and never errs.

One of the reasons the devil instills in people the desire to not help the divine work is so that they do not prosper. Accordingly many of the saved admit they are oppressed by infernal pressures.  Accordingly they set aside very little to offer even when led by the Holy Spirit to please the Lord. They close themselves off to divine will and lose the opportunity to honor Him who continuously honors them.

This has happened even with preachers who go to watch services where they do not preach. The worst is that they do not hear the instructions from God whom they expect to receive blessings from.  We cannot make room for the devil. Only the Holy Spirit should rule us. The Most High cannot bless the disobedient. Therefore always find pleasure in giving to the house of God!

When offering, you demonstrate who is in control and command of your life. Without understanding that offerings and tithing’s are expressions of love, you will be used by the enemy to affront the Owner of the gold and silver (Haggai 2:8) of all gems, jewels and wealth of the world. Therefore, happy is He who leads you in to all Truth (John 16:13) in order that you know and understand what the Bible preaches. 

The Lord allows this type of battle in your inner being for you to know if you love Him or not. If you are obsessed by a spirit contrary to the advancement of the Gospel, you will not contribute or give what you should. Consequently you will not receive what you need. The Word says: For with the same measure that you use, it will be measured back to you (Luke 6:38). Be careful! No one will mock God. As a man sows so shall he reep. (Galatians 6:8)

You must take use of your goods and be generous when honoring the Almighty. To calculate what you should offer even when He asks you to be generous only shows that you love to hoard it. You will be loved just the same. Be an instrument of the Spirit of Truth.  God is powerful to supply all your needs in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19). Therefore proceed according to what He tells you. 

The recipe is to love God with your goods and the first fruits of your wages, your  crops and whatever else you receive. As you do this the heavenly Father will fill your barns. He is seeking those that adore Him in Spirit and in truth (John 4:23), and not people that only think of themselves. Let the abundant Fountainhead quench the thirst of the lost and enjoy the best of God!
