For the day of vengeance is in My heart, and the year of My redeemed has come.
Isaiah 63:4
By examining what the Scriptures declare, we find out that there is no reason to continue being oppressed by shortages of any kind, diseases or any work of the enemy because the day of the Lord’s vengeance has come and has been carried out in a most perfect way. God did not leave any evil work without being destroyed – He was thorough in His work of salvation. Everything that the devil managed to embed in human beings was borne by the Son of God, who, having died in our place, took sin upon Himself forever. Today, there is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus (Romans 8:1).
With the fall of man, humanity was in the hands of Satan, who swayed human beings as he saw fit, leading them into perpetrating the filthiest and most destructive deeds. As a result, man became a prisoner of the empire of darkness, but this bondage ended with the coming of Jesus and the consequent defeat He inflicted on the devil. Today, no evil power can stay on those who have been called to be sons and daughters of God. Our fate was decided upon the death of Jesus, now we have been made free in Christ (John 8:36) and more than conquerors over every evil (Romans 8:37). We no longer have to endure the lies of the enemy.
Since the fall of man in Eden, the Lord began to execute His plan of vengeance. Because man – who was made in the image and likeness of the Lord – was misled by the devil, he became a slave to passions and to all sins. Without any doubt, the Most High would redeem His masterpiece from the hands of the evil one.
Because He is a God of love (I John 4:8), the Lord developed a perfect plan for us not be separate from Him anymore. The Lord would not let us be oppressed by the forces of evil forever. Because He loves us, He devised a way out.
The lie that the devil told the first couple weighed in His heart, and it caused humanity to be in the hands of the enemy. In His heart, the Father saw that the price He would pay to redeem us was exceedingly great, but the Word of God says that He loved us so much that He gave His only begotten Son so that we returned to Him but as His children now (John 3:16). He did not rest for one single moment and made all things for good to those who love Him (Romans 8:28).
The Lord prepared to carry out our deliverance as an act of revenge; as a result, our redemption was accomplished. That\’s exactly what happened. First, His Son would have to be abandoned by him, and this occurred on the cross, which is known as spiritual death. Just as Adam died when he sinned, Jesus, who had never sinned, also experienced that death. The separation from God was complete. So, The Master died physically and descended into hell. There, He suffered all that we were supposed to suffer and, thereby, overcame the devil, taking from him the keys of death and hell (Revelation 1:18). He rose and now sits at the right of the Father
Now, because of what has been done by our Savior on the Calvary, we can escape the suffering of the satanic slavery swayed over us and embrace the freedom that is at our disposal. That is the message we need to convey to all people. Today, the only people who remain in the hands of the enemy are the ones who have not accepted the preaching of the Truth. In Christ we have full and complete redemption, so we have to tell everyone that the year of the redeemed of the Lord has come, and with it captivity has ended.
