Add iniquity to their iniquity, And let them not come into Your righteousness.     Psalm 69:27

Those who don’t repent of their wicked works might be closing the door of Heaven to themselves. Then, when it’s almost time to go into eternity or if the enemy is about to attack them, maybe they don’t feel faith pushing them to make things right with the Lord. We should never live a minute in life without being well with the Most High, for there is no way to know when our time will come. 

The person who insists living in error, in no time, will think that that which the Word forbids is now permitted. Thus, they will not see any reason why they should abandon their wicked ways. Only those who repent – and, with prayers, fasting and tears seek forgiveness – are able to turn around and start again on the path of obedience and respect. Do not be mistaken with what many preach, but serve God with responsibility. 

The fact of adding up iniquity signals that something is not going well. The path of sin widens little by little to those who don’t respect God, and soon, they give in to the enemy. An “innocent” lie to achieve a greater gain, a filthy thought that gives you pleasure and inspiration, or the act of coveting something that belongs to your neighbor will lead you to eternal downfall. 

Soon after sinning, if there is no conversion, many people will not even feel there is a problem in transgressing. At first, things will continue like they always have. The enemy, because of some error of yours, could cause you a horrible damage, but he doesn’t do so right away, for his purpose is greater: your perdition. If you have fallen, turn back to the arms of the Lord, or prepare yourself for the worst. 

When the door that leads to righteousness is closed, it will be useless to knock and ask the Lord to open it. Now, it is time to save the oil, to be ready for the Marriage of the Lamb, for, when He comes and shuts the celestial gates, no one will be able to open them. Therefore, seize this moment and make things right with the Most High by filling your lamps. You have been chosen for the eternal life with Jesus. Why take a risk? Make things right at this very moment! 

Those who remain in sin will never experience the work of acquittal that was done for them on the cross. Then, when humanity is separated into two groups, no matter how much they desire or strive to come to the right group, they will not succeed. In the infinite goodness of His grace, you can be purified from all errors, receive the Holy Spirit and still be useful in the hands of the Most High. 

Fight to be someone who adds holiness to holiness, righteousness to righteousness, good works to good works. Thus, nothing will make you lose the entrance in the Kingdom of God. Your goal must be your eternal happiness, and not adding up goods or man´s recognition for something you have done. Wake up! If you get lost, there will be no second chance, and then, when you realize it was not worth it, your destiny will not change.
