We don’t know why God loved us so much that He gave His only Son to come into the world to die on our behalf (John 3.16). Today we are no longer under the authority of the king of Hell, nor will we go with him to the lake of fire and brimstone, because the love of God has taken us out of this condemnation (Colossians 1.13). We should be immensely thankful for Jesus’ work on the cross.
After saving us, the Lord called us to the holy ministry of the Word, when we have the pleasure of representing Him so that the lost find the way to eternal happiness, the oppressed are set free, and all people leave sin to live His abundance. It’s hard to find words to thank Him for such goodness! But we can take the Good News to the world, so that all may be saved (1 Timothy 2.4).
Our call was prepared by God to have all that was provided for us at salvation. It has great value, and our call to be part of the Body of Christ is the best thing that could happen to us after we are saved (Ephesians 1.18,19). Let’s march confidently to fulfill the Lord’s dream for us. That is worth more than any thanks!
We did nothing special that would please the Most High. Everything was planned and executed because He is merciful. Even without seeing anything in us, the Lord loved us. Now there is nothing more to fear; nor can He erase the invitation He gave us, in which we believe and are guaranteed of being more than conquerors. Let all those who have felt the divine touch and accepted it rejoice, for they will forever be God’s children. This did not come from works, but from His love (Ephesians 2.10).
The Creator had a purpose in our salvation and did not rest until it was consummated. His gifts enable us to do the same works of the Master (John 14.12). Don’t ever let the Father down, don’t ever think about that! Let’s consecrate ourselves and go on with our mission. The world will hear the Good News through us. When we reach Heaven, we will find many who were saved by our work. Glory to God!
Besides the purpose of giving us deliverance from the forces of darkness as well as salvation, the Lord has given us His grace, which is the moving of His power to work on our behalf. Today, we can call Him Father and act in His Name to deliver salvation to the lost and much-desired healing to those sick in their body and soul. God knew what He was doing when He planned life in Jesus. He is good!
The work of the Messiah, and what we can do in Him for people, was decided before the ages of ages. Assume your right in the Son of God and, with faith and determination, please the Almighty by putting His plan into practice.
In Christ, with love,

Lord of purpose and grace in Jesus! We had nothing to offer You, but Your Son was sent to save us and make us worthy before You. Now we are Your righteousness in Christ, called saints, ready to serve You!
It wasn't our works that recommended us to You, because they never existed. Your merciful eyes saw us in perdition, and Your love and compassion made us see clearly. By accepting Your Son, we receive forgiveness!
Your purpose and Your grace have led us to You. So, we speak of Your love with our mouths full of joy! All that You have done for us was decided long before the ages of ages, when there was nothing. We thank You!
