As for me, You uphold me in my integrity, and set me before Your face forever. Psalm 41:12

It does not matter what might befall those who have converted and become God’s children because once they took their stand as His children the Almighty became their Father. As a result, the Lord Jesus, who upholds the entire universe with His mighty power, became their Sustainer. For a Christian to attain this position the only thing the Almighty demands is for him or her to be honest people since in their integrity the Lord will sustain them. So, if you choose to be unrighteous you will not be able to count on the divine assistance anymore.

Those who lie, deceive or engage in other kinds of wrongdoings inspired by the devil but deny their deeds with a straight face are committing a grave sin. A Christian must never lie or cheat, so even if you have to suffer for being honest, you should never cheat or deceive. He who speaks the truth has God on his side. So if you have transgressed, confess it in order to obtain forgiveness and help from the Lord so that you can be free of the sin you have committed.

There are many who do things that are not worthy of a child of the Most High. They transgress and because their doings are not seen by anyone, they deceive people. However, they do not know that by doing it they are kept under the yoke of the enemy. Therefore, their dreams never come true and their prayers are not answered. To make things worse, they never get to prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God (Romans 12:2).

Living on the “outskirts” of blessing is very sad. Those who find themselves in this situation end up seeing others being blessed, standing out in faith and being accomplished in life while they are always suffering, depending on the mercy and sympathy of others, instead of receiving compliments on their good deeds. Their lack of honesty causes them to lead a life that is quite similar to that of those who have never gotten to know the divine will, or even worse.

However, when we decide to confess our sins to the Lord in order to gain His forgiveness, we are immediately placed in His presence. In this way, our supplications, prayers and determinations are soon met, and the evil one starts to lose every battle he wages against us because we become more than conquerors (Romans 8:37). This is how we enjoy what Jesus conquered for us through His death.

Wouldn’t it be great to serve God in truth? Your gain would be much more profitable than anything this world could offer; so make the best decision of your life by surrendering to Christ without any reservations. In so doing you will live forever before Him who is the Lord in heaven and on earth.

In Christ with Love,
