Grace be with all those who love our Lord Jesus Christ in sincerity. Amen!

Ephesians 6:24

In countries where Christianity is widespread, it is difficult to find someone who claims not to love the Lord Jesus. Even people who are living in sin claim to love God. They do not understand that loving Jesus is only truly felt by those who have and keep God\’s commandments (John 14:21). You had better examine yourself; after all it is your responsibility to know what the Father wants you to do. He who does not observe the prohibitions and orders written in the Word of God will never love Him. Grace will only be with those who love Jesus in sincerity.

Being sincere in all things is very important. Those who think they can accomplish their mission sloppily are utterly wrong. The Word says that cursed is he who does the work of the Lord deceitfully (Jeremiah 48:10). Now, the Lord wants holiness, respect and dedication of all those who represent Him. You cannot serve the Holy God with impure thoughts and purposes because He will not be represented by those who serve the evil one.

Those who think they are smart and introduce some form of \”trickery\” in their service to God are simply wasting their time; by acting this way towards the Lord, they are forsaken by Him. The Almighty’s Word gives us a hint on this subject by asking whether two people can walk together unless they are agreed (Amos 3:3). All those who have not been sincere in fulfilling the mission entrusted to them should urgently mend their ways, confessing this and other sins to God.

There are people who believe that the ends justify the means, but this doctrine is evil; it is not written in the Holy Word. The work must be done with sincerity, or else it will not be the work of God (Matthew 5:37). Wherever there is lie or deception the devil is in action and the best we have to do then is get out of this situation. Never go where God is not present. He said we should be holy because He is holy (I Peter 1:16).

Every worker should be careful about their conduct concerning the Gospel. Those who offer profane fire to the altar of the Lord will pay a high price for such wickedness (Numbers 26:61). God is not like one of those greedy businessmen who in order to amass more money hire rascals and thugs to take care of His house. God is holy and, without a doubt, will judge adulterers, liars and other deceitful workers.

To act underhandedly, with no sincerity in the service of God will lead you to damnation. Let us recall the example of people who paid an exceedingly high price for truly serving the Lord. It would have been easier for them if they had joined the authorities of their day, making dubious declarations and not speaking the truth in order to save their lives. However, if they had done so they would have wasted the time they spent in what they considered to be God\’s work and in the end they would be condemned as false witnesses to the truth. John the Baptist would not have lost his head if he had not spoken the truth to Herod (Mark 6:17-29). A small detail can cause you great harm.

In Christ with love,
