And now, Lord, what do I wait for? My hope is in You.

Psalm 39:7

Many people’s arrogance drives them into tripping over and falling before hardships. They don’t know but such procedure is dictated by a devilish force, an evil spirit which already dwells in that heart. In fact, any abnormality signals the fact that hell is influencing or driving that life. The best thing to do in favour of those who have that kind of behaviour is praying, interceding for them and, whenever an opportunity pops up, with wisdom, we must try to open up their eyes.

An arrogant person is vain and they do not know that vanity does not pay off on account of its emptiness in terms of divine content and, at the same time, it’s filled up with evil things. My brother, we need to make use of humility, to make friends with everybody and, though someone feels they own more than others, they must behave with moderation as in their way of behaving so they are not offensive to anyone (I Peter 5:5).

Scriptures’ firmness takes place for being the voice of God and for holding the very divine essence. Not one word of the Lord is empty of power, quite the contrary; all words that come out of the mouth of the Most High bring within the divine virtue to carry out those things announced by them. When we hear the Word of God we feel that IT is distinct from the word of men because IT has a weight of authority in ITSELF. That occurs because The Lord Himself testifies to IT.

Those who believe in what is announced to them can see the glory of God carrying out the promised work; now those who do not believe in it, even though they have spent many hours in prayer or even if they go fasting with good purposes, end up not being answered. What causes a miracle to occur is praying with faith and believing that what the Father promised surely will be fulfilled. The truth is that no word of the Lord is empty in terms of power.

The words that come out of the mouth of God are proved. He would never speak them out to – only later on – have a second thought on them. Those Words directed to us are the best that the Almighty has for all those who wait in Him. They do not come recklessly, but they’re driven by The Spirit to drive us into deliverance. As we believe in what He announces us we put His power at work in our favour.

The most productive thing to do is to put your hope in what the Lord speaks into your heart because, this way, you close the door for the devil and you open it for our God to act. As you listen to the message being preached or as you read the Bible you have the opportunity to learn the truth. Once the divine message has been heard you must determine what has been announced to you and you must consider the work as done.

God is eternally committed to what He says and He guaranteed that, even if Heavens and earth pass, those words that came out of His lips will never fail to be fulfilled (Mark 13:31). So, once you have understood the will of the Lord you must believe and pray as you determine its fulfilment. From that point on you must close your ears for the enemy’s hints – this way you will win.

In Christ, with love,
