Bless the LORD, you His angels, who excel in strength, who do His word, heeding the voice of His word.   Psalm 103.20

This Psalm begins with David guiding his soul to bless the Lord. This will be a blessing to those who do so today. As the Creator, nothing more logical than that beings planned by Him to bless His majestic Name. This praise promotes us spiritually. When we need help, because we are in communion with the Lord, we can use His Name to be delivered (Luke 10.19).

The purpose of the angels of the Most High is to carry out the orders of Heaven. As we understand the divine will, we will ordain, and the revelation will be carried out. We must never command angels to do this, they will not obey, but as we ordain the fulfillment of what we have been shown in the Scriptures, they will do their part. As we give voice to what has been presented to us in the Word, God’s power comes into play and does the work!

One day, Joshua was in a battle against the Amorites, and Israel was winning. However, the sun was about to set, and the enemy would regroup during the night, so he prayed to God and ordained what no one had yet done: “Sun, stand still over Gibeon; and Moon, in the Valley of Aijalon.” (Joshua 10.12b). The voice that gave the Word was honored!

The same should be done whenever we need the heavenly Father. First by meditating on the Word, then by praying to make sure that it is God’s will, and then by giving orders for the work to be accomplished. We are the executors of the Lord’s purpose. Be prepared to put it into practice! Those who are ready for battle will triumph in times of trouble (Psalm 46:1). The Lord is faithful!

Abraham heard that Lot, his nephew, had been taken captive with his family by the kings who defeated the monarchs of Sodom, Gomorrah and other cities around. So, the patriarch prepared 318 servants born in his house and took them to defeat the enemy. This teaches us that every promise has its servants at our disposal, so let us take possession of the blessings.

The angels will obey orders from on High, so remove any sin that wants to nestle in your heart. Thus, your command will succeed. After you have prayed, reject any doubt so that the voice given to the Word will remain: Do not let your mouth cause your flesh to sin, nor say before the messenger of God that it was an error. Why should God be angry at your excuse and destroy the work of your hands? (Ecclesiastes 5.6). Watch and win!

As we have seen, God made His angels magnificent in power. Never judge their operation by what you think, but by what the Most High says. The evil one will certainly lose the fight, if you settle on the Word of the Almighty. Be a partner with the Lord, going with Him to the end (Luke 9.62). Whoever trusts Jesus will never doubt His loyalty!
