04/03/2023 - ABOUT YOUR TEMPTATION

No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man; but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear it. 1 Corinthians 10.13

Let’s meditate on this fantastic statement given by the Holy Spirit to the apostle Paul, to be recorded on behalf of those who would come after him, blessing them. Many people despair when being tempted, but this should not cause anyone discomfort. After all, the Lord warns that it is possible to get rid of the things that trouble you and the brethren around the world: by using the escape provided by the Bible. Act by faith!

Think about this: temptation is human, so you can get away from it. In fact, run away from one of the devil’s tactics, which is to make you believe that this is the end for you. When he suggests his evil works, never let fear and grief invade your heart, but in a calm way – rebuke evil in the Name of Jesus and that’s it. To act this way is the secret to victory!

Some have been able to get close to the Master, felt His presence and seen His power working in their favor. But now, because of a sin, they no longer feel the Lord by their side. They need a moment alone with Jesus, who died on the cross, bringing them salvation. In this meeting, which can be called an executive meeting, they must open their hearts and confess their iniquities in order to be set free.

This is God’s escape for those who are His and wish to become His instruments again. So, from now on, let the Holy Spirit guide you by the Word (Psalm 32.8). Your life must again be useful in the hands of the One who does not change His plans concerning you. Take the opportunity to free yourself from every evil involvement that has bound you. God’s hand is stretched out to you, so hold on to it and believe!

You didn’t fall into the devil’s clutches, because the Word assures you that the Lord didn’t let you be tempted beyond what you could bear. The tribulation was great, but the Father’s love was much greater. He wants to fulfill this promise in your life: Therefore I say to you, her sins, which are many, are forgiven, for she loved much. But to whom little is forgiven, the same loves little (Luke 7.47). Take the chance to live!

Every Christian can withstand the temptation that tries to destroy him. To do so, he has to be sincere with the Lord. If you use any trickery to try to deceive Him, your opportunity to recover will be gone, and you will be left with a sense of abandonment, sadness and dread of the lake of fire and brimstone, prepared for the devil and his angels – and not for you, for whom the Savior paid the necessary price (Matthew 25.41).

Have you prayed and opened your heart to the Lord with sincere repentance? If so, you are forgiven (1 John 1.9). Then let the joy of the Lord invade your soul, for Satan has lost you forever. Get up and fulfill the divine call. God will take care of you personally!

In Christ, with love,

Only Lord! It is wonderful to hear that human temptation has come upon us. Once we are faithful, You deliver us from it, and that gives us great joy. The devil cannot take us out of Your hands. When we make a mistake, we will say, repentantly, what we have done, and thus we will be free!

From now on, we will return to the battlefront, where Your hand will guard us. Only You, O God, could love us in this way. Your love constrains us and binds us more in You.

Yes, we will endure and come out of this great tribulation that has narrowly missed consuming our souls. There are no words to thank You, but You - who know the depths of our being - know how grateful we are to You today and will be forever!
