It does us tremendous good to examine the contrast between God and the devil. While the Lord is and has everything good, the evil one doesn’t possess a single virtue. Anyone who follows the enemy with a hunger and thirst for sin is certainly already dominated by him. There is no way that anyone in their right mind can go against the good Way, the Word of God. When we look at the attributes of the Creator, as the verse under study reveals, we see how wonderful the Most High is!
From all that is in Heaven, where nothing bad exists, and on earth, where there is the greed of men, we see how much the Lord is Father and Provider. One day, while I was driving with one of the pastors at a crossroads in the USA, he asked me to look at the number of vehicles going in all directions, and I replied: “God is the true Father, because He has left a vast amount of oil under the earth for us to move around in”.
After offering the greatest gift of all time, King David praised the Lord of Heaven and Earth, saying that magnificence, power, honor, victory, majesty and everything in the entire physical and spiritual world, as well as his kingdom, were from the Creator. David was used in a way like no other prophet when he declared that the Almighty exalted Himself above all as Head. The saved thank the Most High for this, for only He who is good can be called such.
What would have become of man if the prince of darkness had obtained this title, since in a dirty way he turned away from the Way and became our adversary? The enemy said: I will ascend above the heights of the clouds, I will be like the Most High (Isaiah 14:14), and his sentence was: Yet you shall be brought down to Sheol, to the lowest depths of the Pit (Isaiah 14:15). The Lord is the only Head of all the forces of good and He goes before us to protect us from evil.
Those who hear the Gospel and accept it, believing in the information it contains, become true blessings for humanity. They firmly confess that Jesus commands them and take the following statement to heart: A thousand may fall at your side, and ten thousand at your right hand, but it shall not come near you (Psalm 91.7). Those who trust in the Omnipotent live in peace, because they know that the Savior overcame Satan and the demons because He received all power in Heaven and on Earth (Matthew 28:18).
Whoever resists the Word loses the great chance of participating in Christ’s victory over the evil one. The Bible says: And when I saw Him, I fell at His feet as dead. But he laid his right hand on me, saying to me, Do not be afraid; I am the First and the Last. I am He who lives and was dead, and behold, I am alive forevermore. Amen! And I have the keys of Hades and of Death (Revelation 1:17,18). Rejoice, everyone, for He is our Leader!
We just have to trust in the Lord to overcome our problems and the onslaughts of hell. We are the people chosen by the Almighty, so the devil means nothing to us: Therefore if the Son makes you free, you shall be free indeed (John 8:36).
In Christ, with love,

O God! Yours is the magnificence, the power, the honor, the victory and the majesty, therefore You are the only Lord. We want to know You in the beauty of Your holiness, to serve You as we should. We are content to be completely Yours!
We are weak and wandering, but Your power will make us Your people. Thus, we will live for eternity. You have prepared for us the things that eye has not seen, ear has not heard and have not entered the heart of man. We believe in You!
Embrace us and make us good people who love and serve You. In the end, You will come to take us from this vile world and bring us to Your home of wonders. It is good to serve You and trust in You, for You are honest, pure and Omnipotent!
