Hannah was a simple woman, a peasant girl from the tribe of Ephraim, who understood how dangerous it was to count advantages, and in her chant warned us. Who does not know the Scriptures is influenced by the lies of the evil one and can lose control of the words he utters, injuring the people around him with arrogance. Letting go of it will bring damnation; Everything comes from God and exists for His glory!
The Father has placed self-love in the heart of man, and this feeling helps him to live the divine promises. No infernal proposition of inferiority will prevail over the one who fears God. By faith in Christ we declare our victory, for we feel worthy of it. It is wrong to turn this self-esteem into pride by multiplying words of vanity which lead to ruin (Pv. 16:18).
Both a well-educated person and someone without any school education can be used by the Lord. Never despise a son of the Most High, for his guidance can deliver him from the plots of evil. Hannah’s prudence, for example, constantly humiliated by the pride of Penina, Elkana’s other wife, reveals that all who submit to God obtain His favor: Hannah begat Samuel, Israel’s greatest prophet.
Praise the Lord in blessing or trial, turn your heart to Him and His Word, and you will not be deceived by the evil one. Taking possession of divine blessings will firm your feet and keep you from doubt. In addition, those who place their lives under the anointing of Scripture receive the power to surprise the people around them. Though barren, Hannah persevered in her statements of faith and became the mother of many children (1 Sam 2.5).
Those who have been blessed cannot consider themselves better than those whose blessings have not yet come. If we allow the devil’s intrusion by filling our mouth with pride, it will be impossible to love our neighbor and serve God. It is a divine command to want for others what we desire for us (Mk 12:31). People should see the love of Christ reflected in our lives. Thus we will be heavy and we will not be lacking in ourselves.
If you lack understanding, ask the God of wisdom! Humble yourself before Him in faith to experience His goodness (Jas 1.5). Hannah’s heart was bitter, but she continued to worship the Lord, pouring out her soul in prayer. Then, when the temple priest thought she was drunk, that woman confessed the blessing she longed for and received it. And how will you act?
Take the position of child of God and declare words of victory! The Lord will weigh these confessions on a scale and will work in your life to the extent of each one. May there be no faults! Come into judgment with the Father in prayer, for only He knows the thoughts and is able to prove the intentions of a heart by rewarding it according to its actions (Jer. 17:10).
In Christ, with love,

God of wisdom! Hannah sought Your favor with determination and was rewarded according to the measure of her faith. When she praised Your Name, everyone knew that the barren had given birth to children, and You were magnified in Israel. Hallelujah!
We want to collaborate with Your plans, generating the blessings intended for us. Elcana's wife could boast of her husband's love compared to that of ten children, but she humbled herself before God and won the victory she dreamed of.
Father, give us your understanding, for we must please Thee with our words and deeds, leaving pride and giving way to a humbled spirit. In this way Your light will shine in us! Amen!
