The Lord comforted the Israelites by saying that their strengths were like that of the wild ox (in other versions, unicorn). Now, the Creator knows what He has placed inside each person and the group she belongs to. We are God’s people, so we can never underestimate ourselves by confessing that the devil is bigger or stronger than we are. If God has allowed someone to become an enemy of His people, we must not surrender to him. We have been woven like this mythological beast. Pray and believe!
The Hebrews were taken out of Egypt, whose people were militarily far superior. However, Pharaoh didn’t know that they had the anointing from on High, capable of weakening the king of Egypt, in order to allow the exit of God’s people from that country. This only happened by divine wisdom. Not a soul of Jacob’s sons was lost, but on the Egyptians’ side, the firstborn of each family died, and then Pharaoh and his army (Exodus 12.1-10, 29-36; 14.15-30).
Likewise, no Christian lost his life in the fight waged by Jesus against the devil. On that occasion, the Savior inflicted the evil one with the great defeat, stripping both him and his demons of the power stolen from Adam (Colossians 2:15). They could not believe what was happening. Christ faced Hell alone and overcame the hosts of evil, leaving them in complete misery. The Lord took away from them the authority usurped when they deceived our first parents. God is faithful!
Today, our fate is different from that inherited by man when he sinned. The fall had made him a prisoner of the worst captivity – the spiritual one. Our strength is far greater than Satan’s, because it comes from the Almighty Himself. There is no way for a Christian to lose any battle to the evil one; he only needs to use the power that was given to him when he received the baptism in the Holy Spirit (Acts 1.8). We are strengthened by the Almighty!
God’s people will destroy the legions of demons, symbolized by the nations that attacked the holy people. Demons are our eternal enemies, because they resent our position as children of God. Every time they invest against our life, they will soon fall, because the ability given to us by the Lord is sufficiently greater than theirs. The structures of our adversaries have been broken. There is not the slightest chance that they will launch themselves against us and emerge victorious!
Because we can count on the help of the Most High, we should go into battle confident that the divine anointing on us is sufficient to give us victory and put the enemy to shame. Therefore, no matter what fight you have to fight, be confident, for God will never abandon you (Psalm 144.1). The Kingdom was meant for us; therefore, nothing the enemy says or shows will terrify us. We are stronger in Christ Jesus!
Never go into battle with fear; otherwise, you will not be accepted into the heavenly army: The officers shall speak further to the people, and say, ‘What man is there who is fearful and fainthearted? Let him go and return to his house, lest the heart of his brethren faint like his heart.’ (Deuteronomy 20.8). God has already given you the arrows to pierce the enemy. Confess the Word and win!
In Christ, with love,

God of our strength! The work of salvation is more important than man can realize. If we continued under Satan's authority, we would be slaves who don't know their master. We would suffer whatever the evil and sick mind decides!
As we are born again, the spiritual forces with which You have clothed us become stronger than those of the unicorn. You put a most powerful sword in us, which makes the demons tremble when they approach us. We thank You for keeping us from danger!
With Your guidance, we will cleanse the nations of all deception, and lead them to know the Truth that sets them free. The envoys from hell have had their structures broken, and the arrows from our bows will pierce the kingdom of darkness, as long as we use Your Name with faith and love!
