When you’re in the presence of God and feel the necessity to pray about a certain matter regarding your life or your faith, do it. Even it seems impossible, your request will be answered in due time. However, seek to hear the revelations of the Word. What the Lord says is always true. The Mighty Warrior will show you the correct way to act in every battle. In God there is wisdom and direction!
It is important to pay attention to the Word to discern if what you are seeking is Biblical. If it is, God will contemplate your petition, as long as you have been touched by Him. To pray without knowing divine will won’t redound in success or a desired response. The Most High speaks through dreams, visions and other methods, but mainly through His Word!
When Abraham was called, God declared that He’d be an enemy to his enemies and a friend of his friends: I will bless those who bless you, and I will curse him who curses you; and in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed.” (Genesis 12:3). This promise is for those who are sons of Abraham in the natural or spiritual realm; it belongs to people who accept Jesus and are born again. For they are not all Israel who are of Israel (Romans 9:6).
With understanding from God regarding prayer, David asked God that He’d deliver him from all attacks; that way, what seemed impossible would be done. When you understand a specific revelation from Scriptures, keep it in your heart. Without a doubt, it was the Lord who revealed it to you and it will work every time you pray. God promised to teach us, instruct us and guide our steps (Psalm 32:8).
The king of Israel wasn’t shy when he supplicated that the Most High would deliver him from his persecutors. Do the same and you will see how much this powerful God loves you. The Lord promised: Call to Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know (Jeremiah 33:3). Don’t be shy, but call out with a certainty that you will be heard and great blessings will be announced to you.
Besides being objective in his prayer, David asked the Lord Almighty to deliver him. The king’s desire wasn’t just to be saved, but also to not be disturbed by the evil one anymore. Those who believe should use the means the Lord shows, because the Word won’t ever come back void: So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; it shall not return to Me void, but it shall accomplish what I please, and it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it (Isaiah 55:11).
Consider yourself a part of the blessings of the Most High; after all, He promised to do whatever you determine. Joshua prayed and was enabled to do what no one had ever done: he commanded the sun to stand still over Gibeon and the moon over the Valley of Aijalon. Therefore the sun stood still for almost another whole day (Joshua 10:12). Prayers are capable of stopping even the solar system!

Lord, our Mighty Warrior! When we prepare for battle in Your name, You honor Your promises. The message You give to those who love You won’t come back void, but will accomplish everything it promises.
Many persecuted the son of Jesse, but since everything You say will come to pass, David asked You to deliver him from his adversaries, and so it was done. You invited us to pray saying: “Call out to me…”
David didn’t care about how many opponents he had. When You come into action, those who were sent by the devil leave desperate. This happens when we pray to You, because we are acting under Your orders!
