Whoever trusts in God does not need to weary to earn the bread that will strengthen him, but must enter into the rest of the Most High. The Lord prepares and gives to His loved ones while they sleep (Psalm 127:2). To rest in the Almighty is to accept Jesus as Savior and believe in His promises.
Nothing is better than staying within the limits of Scripture, submitting to what is shown. The Holy Spirit’s work is to guide us in all Truth, saying what He has heard from the Father, because he will not speak of Himself (John 16:13). Therefore, it is essential to follow the instruction of the Spirit by the Word, to do God’s will and to throw away any offer from the enemy.
Man was created with two hands: spiritual and natural ability. In Adam’s sin, the spiritual hand atrophied, and the natural hand was unable to do it´s work. However, Jesus restored us (Mark 3:5). Now, you don’t need much to be happy and obey the Father. Just follow the commandments. Thus, you will become wise and use the other hand healed by the Messiah (1 Peter 2:24). Live the restitution done by the Savior!
Some people fill both hands with their own effort, to the point of living life in a harmful way. They believe that they act in accordance with the Lord at all times. The guidance of the greatest sage born in this world is that we must reject the distress of the spirit. Therefore, enjoy earthly things in peace, living fully in the fear of the Lord.
Never allow envy enter your heart. If a brother is being used by the heavenly Father, praise Him and never open your mouth to talk bad about that servant. The One who called him knows why He made such a decision. We must do our part only, and remove the plank from our eyes (Matthew 7:3).
The Christian who “kills himself” to conquer things and be called a winner, is wrong. As we have seen, being loved by the Lord, you will be given during your sleep. Remember that you are flesh and, because of that, you can rest and entertain yourself in a healthy way. Having both hands taken by work and distress of spirit is detrimental to your being.
The counsel we have received in the Word did not come from the will of man, but from the Creator. So, pay attention to your body! What is the point of exceeding your limit by doing what you think is best for God’s work? That´s like chasing the wind. Having a wise heart will please the Lord (Proverbs 23.15). Watch and pray!
In Christ, with love,

Beloved Father! We wish to enter Your rest, with our hand full, so that we do not add what we think is right. With one hand full, we will serve You better.
The other hand is about dedicating our self to natural life, enjoying moments with our family, visiting friends, choosing decisions that please You, respecting everyone's privacy and loving our neighbor as we want to be loved. Our delight is to live Your joy.
There is no need to run after the wind, because the Holy Spirit blows wherever he wants. When we hear His voice, we don't know where it comes from or where it´s going. The only certainty is that, if we fulfill what You say, we will be pleased. We will overcome trials by Your invincible Name.
