For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted the heavenly gift, and have become partakers of the Holy Spirit, and have tasted the good word of God and the powers of the age to come, if they fall away, to renew them again to repentance, since they crucify again for themselves the Son of God, and put Him to an open shame.

Hebrews 6: 4 – 6

None of the reprimands of the biblical text above should suit you. Unfortunately some Christians let themselves be carried away by defeat and, thus, they become disqualified to The Kingdom of God. Let us go through those six mistakes which, if put together, disqualify those who make them. May what we are about to go through now serve you as a warning for your life.

1st – Those who were once enlightened, and they understood the divine will, and they were capable of understanding The Word of God, but then they let themselves be carried away by sin by turning away from the ways of The Lord, so what they have to do now is to urgently stop with their madness and come back to senses, considering that if they carry on like that there will be no possibility whatsoever for them to be renewed. Those people have conquered precisely those things most Christians would give all they have to conquer; yet, due to their paying no notice at all to the blessings they have received, they will regrettably have to pay a high price sooner or later.

2nd – There is nothing better than experiencing the heavenly gift. Only those who are saved know very well how valuable the divine grace is. When we are accepted into the family of God it is as if being in heaven. Our troubles stop haunting us, struggles cease from happening, and peace gets into our soul. Those who are not saved cannot understand the reason why joy gets into our being. Yet, some people get to the point of changing everything for a love affair, for crookedness or for another error.

3rd – What a privilege The Lord grants us to make us partakers of The Holy Spirit. The text above is not only about having The Holy Spirit dwelling in us, but also of us sharing our lives in and with Him. When that happens we become winners no matter the situation. Faith increases dramatically in our hearts, and then we are used the same way our brothers were in the past, the so-called biblical heroes. Why would anyone despise such Grace?

4th – Our Father wishes us to experience His good Word; after all, we were created and shaped by IT which also gives us a rebirth. We are at home with IT; yet, without IT we feel lost. The Good Word of The Lord fills the material absence of Jesus amongst us and we are used through IT by The Most High. That is the reason why it is possible to say that once we are accompanied by The Word nothing is or will be impossible for us.

5th – Those who follow The Lord have the capacity of experiencing the virtues of the coming century. That power is what we will be using in the eternity. Now, it is granted only to some, but in the future we will have it unlimitedly within the boundaries of the divine will. Those who have received such power; yet, they have failed the trust placed in them, are caught up in a snare of bitterness.

6th – It is very sad to see people being carried away by the enemy and then fallen in sin. The devil will do all he can to strip them of their eternal happiness; therefore, it is a good idea to look out and not accept any of the offerings coming from the prince of darkness. Those people who cherish those bad habits we are pointing out here will not be able to be renewed for salvation. If you have fallen in one or more of those errors mentioned above you must urgently seek for the divine forgiveness. It is up to you to look after your salvation.
