For God did not appoint us to wrath, but to obtain salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ
I Thessalonians 5:9
God is the Maker of all things. He made everything with perfection and according to His will. But due to man’s fall in the Garden of Eden, the divine plan was frustrated and mankind was doomed to be cast in gloom and in the hands of the enemy forever. Nevertheless, God’s love was stronger and He devised a plan to rescue us from eternal doom: He sent His only begotten Son to die in our place (John 3:16). The Most High calculated the price that would be paid and His love prevailed. So, He sent Jesus to be sacrificed on the Calvary in order for those who believe in Him and accept His work to live in His love.
Those who do not accept the work of Redemption done by Jesus Christ remain separated from God and when they die they go to hell where they will suffer the wrath of God throughout eternity. The lost ones will not find any excuse to give to the Lord for not having accepted Jesus Christ and for not having converted to the Gospel.
In order for everybody to be saved the Almighty assigns us with the mission of preaching the Good News. Today, in our country, nobody suffers persecution for spreading the Word of God, but many of our brothers in the past paid with their own lives for fulfilling that command issued by Lord. A few decades ago I happened to be taken to police stations where I heard many harsh words, and I was even banned to go back to some of those towns. My “crime” was that of preaching the Gospel.
Every human being was created to obtain salvation; there is not even one who is not included in the plan of salvation. Therefore, those who have been used by the enemy can be sure of this truth: all men have to do is to accept Jesus as their Savior and then they will immediately become a member of the Body of Christ.
It is important to point out that we obtain salvation and its blessings that come through Christ but never out of our own merit or because of any good deed we might have done. Those who believe in the Words of the Lord will enjoy eternal salvation and will live next to the Lord Jesus.
My brethren, do not live in want of anything. Give your life over to the Son of God and consecrate yourself to Him because then you will be able to achieve everything that salvation can provide you. That wonderful plan, architected and carried out by our Father, comprises healing of all our diseases, solution to all your problems and supply for other needs we might have.
Your opportunity is now as you read this message. At this very moment, the Almighty – who is looking at your heart – is ready to give you everything you need or that you might need in the future. Use the Name of Jesus to rebuke that evil that makes you suffer. Be delivered and blessed!
In Christ, with love,
