Ye also as lively stones are built up a spiritual house, an holy priesthood to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ.  1 Peter 2:5

 Our Lord Jesus is the Living Stone – the only genuine Foundation – whom we must get close to.  He who constructs himself on Him will not stumble or be removed from His true dwelling place.  The blessing obtained as we are invited to follow Him is the most important gift we will ever receive in our life.  Thus, by remaining in Him we will be secured for all eternity. It is important to make things right with the Most High. 

The Apostle Peter’s words are true: we are compared to living stones. This does not mean we are a foundation; however, because we remain in the Lord who is the Foundation, we have become the anchor that maintains people´s faith in Christ. What a responsibility!  We cannot deny Jesus and become lost.  If we do so, many will get lost as well. Strive to do your part.

The Master said that we are the salt of the Earth and light of the world (Matthew 5: 13,14). We have yet to understand fully who and what we are in Christ and through Christ in us to this fallen lost world. This means we cannot ignore the revealed truth in the bible because it establishes our identity.  Those who are righteous and of sound mind will strive and seek to know the Truth and live it; otherwise they will have problems on judgment Day. The Lord set Himself to be our example to show us the way.

Obeying completely the Savior’s instructions as revealed, we will be God’s habitation. We are members of the Body of Christ and His ambassadors through which He moves. Knowing this, we should strive to avoid all the enemy’s traps and be firm in the Calling that God has given us. Understand that as He recreates you in Christ He has anointed you with the Holy Spirit. The Almighty made a great blessing of you.

We are the holy priests, sanctified to be ministers of the Omnipotent’s will, so that there is no way we can abandon His path. Even if everything fails and people lose their minds and decide to serve Satan like one third of the angels that followed Lucifer during the rebellion, we must remain steadfast as soldiers of the divine justice. My sincere prayer is that you may never abandon the Word.

We have a mission in everything that the All-Powerful made us to be, we must offer spiritual sacrifices.  Each battle that is waged, every prayer and praise offered is a spiritual sacrifice offered to God.  During your struggles and trials, show God that He is the most important to you, by knowing His commandments and keeping them (John 14:21). What have you done in your moments of temptation?  Live like a son of God!

The spiritual sacrifices offered to God by you must be pleasant.  The missions planned by the Father for us to fulfill allow us to participate in His work. He developed them so we could walk in them, and greatly we will profit if we obey Him.
