In Brazil, people often say that everyone loves to talk about soccer, politics and other people’s lives. However, if we take into account what people say, we won’t be winners. The salient fact to note here is this: all of humanity will stand before the judgment seat of Christ. But here’s the question: are you prepared to come to that “altar” and declare yourself pure? Before the One who is the consuming Fire, everyone will confess their mistakes!
Jesus condemned the fact that many people want to remove the mote, or speck, from someone else’s eye when they have a plank in their own: Or how can you say to your brother, ‘Brother, let me remove the speck that is in your eye,’ when you yourself do not see the plank that is in your own eye? Hypocrite! First remove the plank from your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck that is in your brother’s eye (Luke 6.42). This is the time to seek the Lord!
As for judging, the Master told us not to act like judges: Judge not, and you shall not be judged. Condemn not, and you shall not be condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven (Luke 6.37). But for the multitude of so-called saved people, this matter won’t be a problem: they teach that “once saved, saved forever”. Could it be that Jesus didn’t know this and therefore didn’t advise them on this way of escaping judgment? Understand: for some, making mistakes doesn’t matter.
We have to follow Heaven’s guidance, which in a simple way shows us that it is wrong to be our neighbor’s judge. Now, whoever does not judge will not be judged; whoever does not condemn will not be condemned, and whoever releases will be released. This should be the way Christians live. Anyone who loves life and wants to go up with Jesus when He returns must believe in the Bible, whose message must be followed (1 Peter 3.10). Prepare yourself and take advantage of God’s goodness so that you don’t get lost.
Those saved in Jesus must read the Scriptures very carefully. That way, they will know what could condemn them at the judgment seat of Christ. Whoever clings to the divine Word will be successful, will only do good to people and will not give an opinion on the conduct of those who do not yet have God’s judgment formed. Christians must do everything as if they were doing it to the Father. In other words, this means acting according to the revelations of the Word, so as not to be destroyed!
God is not only talking about judging your brother, but also about despising those who belong to the Body of Christ. This person, being from the group of the saved, left sin, made amends with those he had hurt in order to be at Jesus’ side eternally. Let us strive to enter through the narrow Gate, for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction (Matthew 7:13,14). Don’t waste time, get ready now!
As we stand before the judgment seat of Christ, it would be good to find a way to respond to the divine touch. People say a lot of things that have no biblical basis, so they will never come true. However, the Bible says that we will indeed be at the judgment seat of Christ, whether we believe it or not. So let’s get it right with the Lord now, because He will return as Judge (Luke 12.58).
In Christ, with love,

Lord, our Judge! How can we disregard Your advice when You warn us of the sins that will drag us into the lake of fire? We accept Your grace and confess that we need Your help. Father, forgive us our faults!
Some brothers are weak-minded, but that doesn't mean we don't have to worry about them and that Your hand will spare them. Where is this written, if not in the book of the devil, who wants to lead us with him to perdition?
The Scriptures warn us to beware of little foxes, which harm the vineyard. People with a twisted understanding act like them and are unaware of the harm they cause to others and to themselves. At the judgment seat of Christ, the judgment will be final. Believe it!
