Not loving God – failing to keep His commandments – is very serious, and those who do so open the door to the works of Satan and his demons (John 14:23; 1 John 5:18). When the Creator said that we should love Him with all our heart and with all our strength, He showed us that He would not allow the wiles of Hell in our lives (Luke 10:27).
Those who do not know the Scriptures constantly suffer. The person who fears God, on the other hand, respects His ordinances and never gives the devil a chance to attack him or his family. The enemy causes not only physical illnesses and mental disturbances, but all sorts of problems – marital separation, unemployment, and frustrations that lead many to harm their own lives. Because of unconfessed sin (Proverbs 28:13), darkness works in the lives of so many individuals.
Repentance is the only way out to stop the evil action. It doesn’t matter what culture one lives in; the Holy Spirit gives the warning to the person who is going to sin. Abraham lived in the land of Ur of the Chaldeans. In that place, sin was trivialized, but for this servant of God, it was revolting. So, he began to seek the Lord and to serve Him. One day, the patriarch received an order from Heaven: leave his place of origin and his family and go where God would take him. And he obeyed (Genesis 11:31; 12:1-4; 15:7)!
Thank God for the explosion of the Gospel in our country, but with it came the deviations from the Word. We are already beginning to see aberrations being taught and practiced by false brethren. Now, to desire and to return to the purity of the Word is the key to stopping the evil one. Otherwise, there is no way to get rid of the kingdom of darkness. The worst mistake of a transgressor is to hide his deed, for it is as if he were practicing it again – by lying. The Truth sets one free (John 8:32).
The prohibition of mixed marriage in Deuteronomy 7:1-4 does not include other nations, but only those that the children of Israel would possess, and some extend it to other peoples. The list of the seven nations included: The Hittites, and the Girgashites, and the Amorites, and the Canaanites, and the Pherezites, and the Hivites, and the Jebusites. This is the reason: For they will turn your sons away from following Me, to serve other gods; so the anger of the LORD would be aroused against you, and destroy you suddenly (Deuteronomy 7:4). Take care of yourself!
Some people think that because Solomon married an Egyptian woman, he opened the door for the enemy’s operations to involve him. In fact, the promiscuous life he led turned him into one more of those who did not bow to divine guidance. The abysses are always at work in those who disregard the Lord´s commandments (Psalms 42:7). Therefore, he loved many women, displeasing God. Why sin when it is better to live in holiness?
The tempter wants to take a little piece of your life, in order to make you a failure in faith. Whoever acts like David´s son will be in trouble, because this attitude offends the holy and pure God. Why did the wisest man in the world let lust dominate him? It is good to check the way you serve Christ. Do you walk prudently or do you do what the flesh asks?
In Christ, with love,

God, who instituted marriage! For man and woman, there is nothing better than to have a holy marriage. Whoever walks according to Your principles proves that he loves You and is loved by You - and Jesus manifests Himself in that person. Deliver us from evil!
May our commentary never stand against him who received wisdom from You, and all things less the sinful ones. May his example serve as a lesson to those who are leaning towards the error. Lord, protect Your people!
Woe to us if we take a step in the wrong direction and join those who disrespect You! We cannot be among the adulterers or the immoral. May we be among those who will ascend with Christ!
