Authoritative decisions are found on the lips of the king: in judging let not his mouth transgress. Proverbs 16.10

Let’s learn our position before God, so that we are not open to the works of the Kingdom of darkness. First, we will see who we are before the Lord and all things. The Bible speaks of the work of Christ on the cross: And they sang a new song, saying: “You are worthy to take the scroll and to open its seals, because you were slain, and with your blood you purchased for God persons from every tribe and language and people and nation. (Revelation 5.9).

No preacher of the Gospel, even the most traditional, has any doubt that the message of this verse is true. Whoever feels repentance and accepts Jesus as Savior and Lord – becomes a child of God. The Word reveals that He has made us kings and priests: And have made us kings and priests to our God; And we shall reign on the earth (Revelation 5.10). Is this true or exaggeration? 

The apostle Paul teaches us that our dominion is now – in life: For if by the one man’s offense death reigned through the one, much more those who receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness will reign in life through the One, Jesus Christ (Romans 5.17). Those who were oppressed by the reign of death, sin and its consequences – must reign – because they have the last say. The believer doesn’t need to decide whether he is king or not, because Jesus has already made him king for God!

The prophet Isaiah said that Christ substituted for us -suffered our sins, diseases, and other ills in our place: Surely He has borne our griefs

And carried our sorrows; Yet we esteemed Him stricken,

Smitten by God, and afflicted. But He was wounded for our transgressions,

He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him,

And by His stripes we are healed (Isaiah 53.4,5). Do you believe that?

After more than 700 years that the prophet had revealed the reason for Christ’s death for us, the apostle Peter emphasized the following truth: “He himself bore our sins” in his body on the cross, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness; “by his wounds you have been healed.” (1 Peter 2.24). If the sinner can believe and be saved, because Jesus replaced him, the sick person can also be healed!

Matthew, writing his gospel, restated Isaiah’s words: When evening came, many who were demon-possessed were brought to him, and he drove out the spirits with a word and healed all the sick. This was to fulfill what was spoken through the prophet Isaiah: “He took up our infirmities and bore our diseases.” (Matheus 8.16,17). If there was any doubt about the fact that Christ heals, now there is no more!

If you believe the Word, consider yourself king to the Lord. Assume the biblical revelation that has reached your heart! Decisions of authority are in your mouth; so, stop prevaricating! Don’t make a deal with the devil, but confirm what God says! You have the power to do good. Use it!
