I cannot understand the behavior of people who refuse to believe there is a Creator and that we have to respect him and fulfill our duties. Without any doubt, there is a higher Being than man, who gave origin to all things – both material and spiritual. We know him as God and Lord, therefore we regard him with reverence and deem him as holy; otherwise, we would be alienated from his presence and out of his area of protection.

Rebellion has been around since the beginning of creation. When Eve gave birth to Cain, she rejoiced and said, “I have acquired a man from the Lord”, but her son turned out to be the first murderer in the world. Instead of bringing an offering that would please God, the firstborn of mankind chose to rebel against God’s will. Consequently, hatred entered into Cain’s heart, bringing in the homicidal demon, which resulted in the death of Abel.

The spirit of rebellion has proven to be the lord of this world and, as much as we preach the gospel, there will always be people who believe it is cool to be different. However, being different as far as denying the Truth is concerned and becoming a rebel against the Lord’s voice is to act as foolishly as one can do. We must imitate Christ, not provoke his wrath; if we do imitate him, we will enjoy gracious times and experience his great and wonderful love.

Those who believes that they can do everything on their own have no idea how much damage they are causing to themselves, because the day will come when this person will need God but their wickedness will prevent them from being helped or rescued. Lack of respect for the Creator will make this person experience the worst evil from the devil. An individual who is not subject to the Lord in love will never enjoy peace, love and protection from heaven. 

He who considers himself author of his own words does not understand that they have been inspired by light or darkness, since there is no such thing as neutrality in the spiritual world. If what comes from your lips has its origin in the devil, your seed is evil, therefore you might as well expect a bad harvest, because no one mocks God (Galatians 6.7). He who wants to reap good things must refrain from speaking proud things, and offer his tongue as an instrument of the Truth.

To deny the lordship of the Creator will not lead you anywhere; instead, it will confirm your eternal condemnation. So it is better to repent from every single bad choice you have ever made and turn back to the Father. Examine yourself and see what attitude you have had in relation to the Word of God. If you find a “red flag”, make things right and restore your fellowship with God. You do not want to be in the hands of the devil even for a split of second.

God created the universe and sustains it by the power of his Word. Jesus is the most holy person in the Trinity who made all things from nothing and, with his Word, controls all 100 billion stars in our galaxy – the Milky Way. Some people say there are another 100 billion planets just like ours. How much foolishness comes from the lips of those who do not love the Lord!
