Now therefore, be wise, O kings; be instructed, you judges of the earth.

Psalm 2: 10

It is not good to do the work of God recklessly (Jeremiah 48: 10 a) as though it did not have The Almighty as its Commander. Due to the fact that the work belongs to Him and not to us we have a duty to utilize only the means put at our disposal. You must never be carried away by neglect when it comes to fulfilling the divine work. The fact of God having called you to do His work makes you a very privileged person.

Jesus turned us into kings to our God (Revelation 1: 6) for us to be able to do His will the same way He would if He was in our place. So, it is good for us to remember that we were made sovereign in order for us not to be disqualified or accused of having exaggerated in applying our authority. We have to be wise and never let ourselves be influenced by appearances.

The Lord instructs us not to put wisdom aside considering that it is necessary for the steps and attitudes we are to take. With wisdom it is possible for us to avoid the traps set up by the enemy for us, we who have been established as authorities; yet, many of us have unfortunately allowed prestige and naivety corrupt our souls. A good way to prevent that from happening is to always consider yourself as a servant and, as you feel some temptation coming up, you are to cry out for the prompt divine assistance.

Those who are wise allow themselves to be instructed; yet, those who are more concerned about achieving results rather than how they are doing that are undoubtedly acting recklessly. Then they put into question the reason why some are well-successful but not them. God declares that there is no partiality with Him (Romans 2: 11); all people, anywhere, who are willing to fulfil His will are deemed to be pleasant to Him. That is the reason why, whenever necessary, you are to cry out for help.

Being the active agents of God’s justice here on earth we need to be extremely wise. Such heavenly wisdom will prevent us from acting contrary to divine purposes. It is precisely with it that we will be delivered from all satanic plans. Our duty increases in the same proportion in which we are used. The more someone gets from The Lord the more they have to look out considering that, otherwise, they will fall into temptation.

One day we will all be called up to be accountable for what we have done or what we have failed to do regarding the mission assigned to us by Him. That is the reason why it is not good for us to forget that the work to which God has assigned us cannot be compared with a farm we may own. We must never consider ourselves to be the owner of the work we are doing, and that is the reason why we cannot do it recklessly. Sanctification to The Lord is a paramount requirement for us not to be condemned on The Great Day.

Once you fulfil firmly your calling within the boundaries of faith, with determination and zeal to what has been taught to you, there is no reason whatsoever for you to fear the reckoning day. If you have exaggerated in fulfilling your duty you must seek to make amends by confessing your errors and being granted the divine forgiveness because, remember, that one will be a merciless judgement.

In Christ, with love,
