Therefore do not be like them. For your Father knows the things you have need of before you ask Him.

Matthew 6: 8

In Jesus’ earthly ministry the gentiles were those who didn’t participate in Israel’s community. Today, they represent those who are not converted yet. It doesn’t matter where the person lives or where she was born; God answers all those who turn to Him the right way. If someone isn’t born again there’s no way for them to enter The Kingdom of God. Yet, those who accept Jesus as their Saviour become part of the divine family and – precisely for that reason – they become entitled to get near Him and to receive those benefits they need.

The lost ones are never heard because sin rules over their lives – Now, those who are in error are actually under the enemy’s power. First, a sinner must acknowledge their lost status and turn to repentance to receive salvation. The moment they do it, there past evil deeds become insignificant at once because they have now achieved the forgiveness for all their wrongdoing and have joined the family of God. When that happens they then begin enjoying the attention and the love of The Lord.

Now those who are already saved don’t need to wonder whether they’ll be heard or not by The Most High considering that his ears will never be shut to His people’s prayers. As members of The Body of Christ all our petitions will reach our Father’s heart and then we’ll be blessed if we pray in The Name of Jesus. We set out praying because we know we’ll be answered. All those promises recorded in The Bible have in us a right direction.

The Lord God is Omniscient and that’s why He knows very well what we need even before we ask Him but if our prayer isn’t said with faith and determination we won’t be answered. The Most High doesn’t give any privilege to those who are lazy. Jesus said that only those who ask will receive, only those who seek will find and that the gates will only be opened for those who knock on them (Matthew 7: 7). Pay heed to what the Word says about you, pray with faith and determination and, thus, The Lord will be with you.

All Christians have to be even more daring as they cry out, they have to stand firm in faith and, finally, more determined to get what belongs to them in Christ. Don’t fail to believe in the Words of The Lord through The Scriptures and, once you’ve done it, you must live a life in prayer to get those riches that belong to you. One thing is certain: The Lord is righteous and won’t let any of His riches end up in someone else’s hands. Stand up right now and take possession of what belongs to you in The Name of Jesus.

It’s not a good idea to keep on day dreaming about complete incoherent ideas and wrongly believe that God will make them come true. His conduct is precisely that recorded in The Scriptures considering that He’s only committed to His own Word and not to men´s ideas. If your behaviour is in line with that backed up by The Bible your prayers will never fail to be answered. Our Father is faithful to those who believe in Him.

I believe that: nothing is impossible for those who believe in His Words (Mark 9: 23). Our Eternal God feels pleasure in fulfilling His promises. The scriptural revelations for you are exactly what He wants to perpetrate in your favour. Don’t be shy or coward but a brave soldier of God. If you accept the direction of The Holy Spirit in your battles you’ll always come out victorious.

In Christ, with love,

R. R. Soares
