28/06/2014 - BE FAITHFUL TO YOUR HELPER

For the Lord GOD will help me; therefore I will not be disgraced; therefore I have set my face like a flint, And I know that I will not be ashamed. Isaiah 50.7

It is a great blessing to be helped by the Lord, for good things you never imagined that could happen in your life become usual. On the other hand, in eternity, He will show us that we were preserved – through His direct action – from suffering that were prepared for us. The Lord doesn’t ask much for us but only to have and fulfill His commandments (Jn 14.21). Therefore, you become part of the group of the ones who have His love.

People who disdain the heavenly direction and search help through prayers, fasts, vigils or other resources will realize that they didn’t do well. On the other hand those who seek the Lord correctly will never be disappointed. He helps us through faith that comes through the attention we give to His Word. When our heart is filled with confidence that such promise belongs to us, it is enough just to ordain that the promise happens in our life (Mk 11.23).

The ones who are helped by the Most High are never confused. They will be preserved in the evil days, when it seems the good will disappear from the face of the Earth. The truth is that the wicked one will never take to the end his intent against those who live in the heavenly atmosphere, trying to make God’s will, since the Most High will always frustrate the wiles of Hell from attacking His servants. Those who follow the faith take the right decision.

The prophet said that, due to the certainty of his heart, he has set his face like a flint because he was decided, steady. Be aware of the devil not to take your blessing away (Rev 3.11). When you feel the Word was revealed to you, your heart will be happy and, then, you have to command your blessing and definitely not change your decision. Your decision must be final about what God tells you, without giving up on a complete fulfillment.

It is your obligation to stay unshakable on what the Lord asks you to do. The revelation is a command from Heaven which will never be changed. The Bible alerts to the fact of changing opinion, reporting about a prophet who wasn’t sure of what he heard from God and was killed by a lion (1 Ki 13.25-26). When we have a revelation of the heavenly Word, we cannot accept any other direction from man, no matter who he is. The one who prevaricates will pay a high price.

Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. (He 11.1) Having heard God, never come back on your decision or take any position which causes you injury. You can only please God if you are faithful and do what He commands.
