Then Jesus said to them, “My time has not yet come, but your time is always ready. John 7.6

Your time comes when you hear the Good News, and likewise, your healing takes place, as faith fills your heart with the joy of Heaven. In that hour, rebuke evil and believe: “In an acceptable time I have heard you, And in the day of salvation I have helped you.” Behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation. (2 Corinthians 6.2). Your delight in the Word signals that the blessing has been given to you.

Since the day Jesus commissioned the disciples to take the Good News to the world, the Church can enter wherever there is a need for the word to be ministered. God’s people have the spiritual authority to summon the sick, the demon-possessed, the drug addicts, the thieves and the suffering, and deliver them, in the Name of the Lord, from the oppression that keeps them in error. Christ has given us power over Satan!

Until then, the devil had been acting recklessly, putting all kinds of evil into people – but because he has been defeated by the Savior, he can no longer act in the lives of anyone he wants to (John 12.31). We have power to bind the evil one in every seemingly hopeless situation and drive him out. God places us where He is and thus, we are free. Where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom (2 Corinthians 3.17)!

People of faith make a difference in the world, today. When someone is called to do God’s work, God’s power goes into action at the same time and the adversary no longer oppresses this servant of the Lord. In Samaria, there was great joy with the message preached by Philip; therefore, wonders took place (Acts 8.5-8). Divine power will precede us, if we obey the Father.

Paul faced many afflictions in the days of his ministry, but wherever he went he was wonderfully used by God. In Ephesus, he was so successful that it wasn’t possible – to visit all the sick and disturbed people, but he sent handkerchiefs and aprons to the people, and before these objects, the demons fled, the sick were healed and the people praised the Lord for these works (Acts 19.11,12). Where is the Creator?

The response that Sennacherib received in Jerusalem, by the prayer of the prophet Isaiah and King Hezekiah, was unbelievable. When everything pointed to a great massacre – the Assyrians would invade the city and burn it – an angel from Heaven was sent to show the enemy that the protector of the city of the Great King is the Strong One. By morning, there were 185,000 dead men – which were the best soldiers of the Assyrian army (Isaiah 37:36). The Assyrian king returned home defeated!

Our time is for believing and praying, as it was in Jerusalem, when Herod killed the apostle James, one of the 12 disciples, and arrested Peter, who was kept in maximum security by 16 soldiers. However, the church cried out and used its power. As a result, an angel was sent to the prison to release the apostle, and so he did (Acts 12.1-12). The God of wonders wants to work even more!

In Christ, with love,

God, our Guide! Our time comes when we hear the Good News of what Jesus has done on our behalf. With this, we can ordain evil to leave and receive all that pertains to our salvation, such as healing and deliverance.

Since the day Christ sent His disciples with power over all kinds of evil, man no longer needs to suffer. For this, we give thanks for what You have given us. Now we can live free from the forces of darkness. Thank You, Father!

The enemy can no longer act as if he were the king of the world, putting all that is no good in people. Now, we have the authority to bind him - in every situation that seems unsolvable and cast him out. We are grateful that You use us to free the oppressed.
