Our soul waits for the LORD; He is our help and our shield. For our heart shall rejoice in Him because we have trusted in His holy name.

Psalm 33:20-31

There is nothing more rewarding than waiting on the Lord. He is the only one who can help us, because besides never having lied or said something in vain, all His promises are fulfilled. Waiting on Him is the secret to being successful and living a fruitful life. That does not mean you have to sit back and say that “God-willing” you will be given a blessing. He who has this mindset is totally wrong and needs to hear the Holy Word so that, after having learned what belongs to him, he can take his stand and strive to make his dream come true.
The Most High is ready to help us whenever needed. Nobody doubts the omnipotence of our God, for He can do all things and therefore is able to come to our aid whenever His help is needed. If there was any situation in which He could not do what He promised, then He would not be God. But the truth is that our Lord is complete and perfect (Numbers 23:19, Deuteronomy 32:4a).
If we have the Almighty as our shield, we can be at peace because no weapon formed against us – no tools prepared by the enemy – can reach those who have the Almighty as their protector (Isaiah 54:17). This means that God’s servants should live fearlessly because though hell can produce and throw at us the most deadly darts, they will not reach us.
There is no reason for being embittered since the Word of God is the joy of our heart. Therefore we, who love the justice of the Lord, should rejoice and sing without ceasing. After all, how can we have a different attitude if we live inside the divine realm and are surrounded by a wall of fire?
God\’s children need to understand that in Christ they have everything. The divine power has already given us what we need to live a prosperous and abundant life. Actually, there is not – and there never will
be – one single person who has dared to believe in what the Scriptures proclaim and stopped receiving complete victory!
Therefore, before any circumstances, trust in the Almighty because regardless of the ordeals, the way of escape is by using His name. If you do it with faith, God\’s power will then operate in your favor. Acting in the Name of Jesus is like having the Lord Himself dealing with your problems. So be brave and do assert your rights in Christ!
