I call to remembrance my song in the night; I meditate within my heart, and my spirit makes diligent search. Psalm 77:6

Asaph had a secret song in which he chanted divine goodness and which led him to the Lord. This is the encounter most awaited by any person who rejects failure. The triumphant life in Christ is built with every trial, for every struggle must be overcome. We cannot and should not have a single loss on our resume, but rather an accumulation of achievements. God’s servants are called to do His work, and not that of defeated men. Believe!

Remember your ancient fellowship with the Most High, when He visited you in church, the moments of prayer at home, and the occasions when He led you to tell someone about the holy work set apart for that person. He used you because He loved you. Has the Lord changed or have you lost interest in knowing Him better? Is something else taking up His time in your life? (Deuteronomy 6:5; Hosea 6:3). Turn to your heavenly Father, and He will turn to you (Isaiah 55:7).

Even though it is night – a time when no one can work, because the light of life, whose strength comes from God and leads His people to success, is not shown to them – you can bring into existence the teachings of the Scriptures, which some people do not believe will come to pass (John 9:4). Every convert has the potential to be a hero of the faith. Therefore, you should not look to the devil waving the victory flag, because it is a lie. Like Jacob, we must struggle with the Lord (Genesis 32:22-30; Hosea 12:3)!

The faith that comes from hearing the Word will turn into a mighty song of praise to the Creator of Heaven and Earth. He made everything from nothing. If you do not believe, nothing will happen; but if you believe, you will see the glory of God: Jesus said, “Take away the stone.” Martha, the sister of him who was dead, said to Him, “Lord, by this time there is a stench, for he has been dead four days.” Jesus said to her, “Did I not say to you that if you would believe you would see the glory of God?” (John 11:39,40). He is the Resurrection and the Life (John 11:25).

Meditating helps a little, but reflecting in the heart easily brings the answer from the Most High. When we are connected to God, believing in the Bible, we can act like gods, taking possession of what He shows us by revealing His face, the Word (Psalms 82:6; John 10:34). Those who served the Lord in various battles possessed this strength. But remember: we can do nothing without Him (John 15:5).

Be an instrument of the Holy Spirit and investigate. Then you will see the power of the Creator’s declarations. Ask Him about the Lord’s will, the plan for you, and reconcile with Him. This restoration to divine grace occurs when you believe the Father’s instructions. Now, Jesus made the following statement to His disciples who asked Him for help because they were about to be shipwrecked: But He said to them, Why are you so fearful? How is it that you have no faith? (Mark 4:40). Whoever walks with Christ is not put to shame!

As you discover the pure faith that already shines in your heart, pray. If the trial grows, don’t look back, but believe until the complete victory. Call to mind what God represents in your life. Thus, the threatening giant to many, will be a dwarf to you. This will be an opportunity to praise the Lord and show that there is God in the Church of Christ, as David showed there was in Israel. Believe!

In Christ, with love,

God of our remembrance! We want to see You in our lives, just as You were in Joshua's and in other servants of the past. Our generation cannot be disappointed because of the threats of the enemy, but it must rise up and set out to succeed. You are our Victory!

When we meditate in our hearts, Your strength comes to make us believe. Therefore, we can face the enemies who try to prove that we are weak and powerless to give them the deserved answer: defeat. We will win for Your glory!

Your wisdom will lead us to investigate and discover the reason for so much strife, where to find Your power, and how to fight the evils. Your Name is our weapon! Using it, we will give You true praise. In Jesus' Name we command evil: go away now!
