And though the Lord gives you, the bread of adversity and the water of affliction, yet your teachers will not be moved into a corner anymore, but your eyes shall see your teachers. Isaiah 30.20

When a person doesn’t fully trust God, not even for a moment does he seek His direction in His Word. So, frightened, he thinks he has committed some horrible sin and starts confessing what doesn’t exist. Then, seeing that this attitude is useless, he stops seeking the Lord, because according to him, He does not love His children. To suffer like this shows that he has been contaminated by the devil, who works hard to lie and separate some saved ones to him.

I assure you that the bread of adversity does much good, because it is made by God in love to deliver you from the snares of the evil one. With the wrong kind of reasoning, you despise that which will give you the freedom you dream of. Never despair when facing trials, for so says the Word: No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man; but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear it. (1 Corinthians 10:13).

The Most High has the “bread” of diabetes, capable of destroying it completely; that of cancer, which delivers the sick from an early death, and that of other evils. Moreover, God prepares the water of affliction, which causes a positive effect on people who are at a loss as to how to act, but are willing to trust and wait on the Almighty. Now, the hasty sin: Do you see a man hasty in his words? There is more hope for a fool than for him. (Proverbs 29.20). How will you proceed?

Those who do not seek divine wisdom make the spiritual teachers, raised up by God to guide them, run away. This shows that the hasty ones neither serve the Lord nor want to examine the Scriptures. To them, God never tells them anything good, as Ahab, king of the Northern Kingdom, said about Micaiah, a faithful servant of the Lord. However, Jehoshaphat, king of Judah, made Ahab send for him (2 Chronicles 18:4-27). God is just!

Many of you reading this are just like Ahab, feeling honored to hear the lies of his prophets. There is only one way out: repent and stop provoking the Holy Spirit, who comes to help us understand God’s will in any situation experienced by us (Romans 8.28). What God speaks deserves all the credit, so don’t turn away from Him. The teachers would flee from Israel on wings, going far away. Beware! Repent!

Those faithful to God will see their teachers teach them the Truth. To do this, one must leave the lie and sin which so closely surrounds us (Hebrews 12.1,2). There is no way that a person can give the devil any right in his life and the Most High continue to bless him. The Bible says: He who is unjust, let him be unjust still; he who is filthy, let him be filthy still; he who is righteous, let him be righteous still; he who is holy, let him be holy still (Revelation 22.11). There must be a change!

There has never been any wickedness in God’s part, but He is unable to bless anyone who has sin hidden in their heart. So go to the Lord now, confess your error and ask for forgiveness. You will surely be a victor in Christ.

In Christ, with love,

God of good counsel! We cannot live without having You as our Lord and by our side. Deceit cannot rule our lives. Now, with sorrowful hearts for our transgressions, we ask for Your unconditional forgiveness. Help us!

Ahab sold himself to the devil and never sought You; therefore, his life was one of defeat. He fell in the battle he thought he would win. But how could he win, if he didn't go with Your people to You in true repentance? He supported the prophets of Baal!

We don't care about any other God, for You alone are the true and faithful One. We want to learn from You, so that we can be successful on a daily basis. Look upon us and send Your help! We will give You due praise. Father, we sincerely desire to be forgiven by You.
