A fire goes before Him, and burns up His enemies round about.

Psalm 97:3

Satan and his demons are the everlasting enemies of God. On account of that they will neither ever be assisted by The Lord nor will they be requested to assist Him. Today, though they show themselves up as powerful and steadfast in their works they are nothing but a bunch of defeated creatures which will never manage to conquer any victory over the chosen ones of The Most High. Therefore, no Christian is to fear the devil’s move.

When The Lord fights our wars (II Chronicles 32:8) before Him is a fire that frightens the enemy. That happens every time He is operating. Our opponent gets desperate only by thinking of what might happen to them if we invoke the divine assistance. That is the reason why he will do all he can for us not to use our rights in Christ. Every time we assume what belongs to us in Jesus, God will work on our behalf.

Even though the devil might show himself strong we have to believe that he will not resist too long because, having The Lord as our Helper, the enemy is already being burned. Therefore, if any problem is getting in your way now you must seek The Lord with all your heart and, with faith, determine the destruction of evil altogether. That is all it takes for Our Saviour to begin operating. The victory of those who believe and do what must be done is more than certain.

Through our determination, in The Name of Jesus, we cause The Lord to begin defending us. Christ promised that everything we ask Him – everything we determine and demand to happen – in His Name, will be done for us by Him indeed (John 14:13). So, we only have to open up our mouths and declare that those things which are firmly stated in The Word belongs to us; then the L<ord God will come into action and give us the blessings.

Do not stop praying with faith against everything that gets in your way. We lose many gifts from The Lord because we don’t demand our rights. The Lord wants us to take possession of those things that have been done for us, revealed in The Word. He will never deny the words of His lips. What is written must neither be questioned nor be put off; having said that, you must use your right and take possession of everything that belongs to you.

Elijah’s understanding went further away than ours has so far. On Mount Carmel he knew that that challenge was God operating and, thus, he declared and fire came down (I Kings 18: 38). Do not be afraid and do not be intimidated before any tribulation whatsoever! Address our Heavenly Father according to those things He declares in His Word. All servants of God who, in the past, trusted in the words of The Lord ended up winning; and the same goes for you today.

You must never forget that The Most High always goes ahead of those who believe in Him in order to do His great work. Before Him goes a burning fire to consume your enemies. So, be strong and fearless. If you assume your place in Christ, He will do what He promised. Therefore, it is only up to you for The Lord to begin operating on your behalf.

In Christ, with love,

R. R. Soares
