And Moses said to the children of Israel, “See, the LORD has called by name Bezalel the son of Uri, the son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah;

Exodus 35:30

The eternal God, with all His power and capacity, with so many important issues to address, one day looked down from His throne and after watching me, He decided: you’ll be mine. Of course, the Almighty saw nothing special about me, yet he decided to do what His pure and loving heart had conceived. What a blessed decision! He called me to be His child and then commissioned me to do His work. Halleluiah!

Whoever does not do what the Lord decides will never know how important the divine decision was. Those who said “yes” to God’s call will be in the world of light enjoying the heavenly presence forever and ever, from where they’ll never go out. However, woe to those who say “no”! They will be shunned forever and cast into the bottomless pit, where darkness prevails with weeping and gnashing of teeth (Matthew 24:51)!

If those who have been summoned by the Creator miss this opportunity, there will be no other. Now, why not choose the truth, why not bow to reality and let Him restore you forever? Those who prefer the error will be responsible for their disastrous decision. Considering that the divine call was issued to make you happy eternally, God will turn you into what He has promised in His Word even if you do not see any possibility for that to be fulfilled in your life.

If you have been called – like Bezalel was – to do a certain work, do not fear because you have found grace before the Lord and it will envelop you. Moreover, the work at hand will be done with the help of all the divine capacity. In fact, God will give you the necessary conditions so that no failure shall be accounted on you. Be firm, strong and fearless for He has spoken to you, therefore He will guide you towards a wonderful result.

Do not allow the enemy to rob you of your blessing. Your choice was the best you could ever have made, which means you’ve won the greatest prize even if the work, in your opinion, might seem small or even vile and despicable. Do not let the demon of lust fill your heart with lies because the Almighty has decided that you will do what pleases Him.

On the great Day of Reckon, may you hear from that blessed mouth: “Good and faithful servant; you were faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things” (Matthew 25:21). On the other hand, he who is found wanting will hear the opposite of what will be said to you. Why trade luck for misfortune and leave the fountain of living waters for that which will only bring pain and suffering?

In Christ with love,

R. R. Soares
