09/09/2012 - CAST A TREE INTO YOUR PROBLEM

So he cried out to the LORD, and the LORD showed him a tree. When he cast it into the waters, the waters were made sweet. There He made a statute and an ordinance for them, and there He tested them.

Exodus 15:25

After the children of Israel had crossed the Red Sea they went into the wilderness of Shur where there was no water. Well, walking always demands physical strength and when it is done in the desert the effort is even greater and the need for drinking water becomes pressing. Nobody can live without it, not even the camels because though they can live many days without water, there will come the time when they will feel the need to drink it.

In average, three million people wandered through the desert in an attempt to find the fluid of life, however they weren’t successful. Their energy must have gotten very weak but as they approached Marah the news that there was drinking water in that place soon spread. Nevertheless, when they tried to quench their thirst a feeling of sorrow and an urge for rebellion overcame them because the waters were bitter.

The Hebrews got angry and complained against Moses – which is something that must never be done by any of God’s children. If you – who aren’t in sin and believe the Lord guides you – happen to find yourself in any difficult situation, pray and do not let the enemy put words in your mouth because the Most High may have an amazing plan to deliver you from the situation you’re in.

The Exodus narrative shows us that that situation wasn’t easy, after all nobody can survive without water. Those people had been walking for about three days and some of them might have already been worn out. How long would they be able to stand it? Well, if they were being led by the Most High they knew they should hold on until the moment God provided them with that precious liquid, for the Lord cares for those who obey Him.

When Moses saw that people were moaning and groaning he prayed to the Lord, which is something we must do whatever the circumstance. So, in good or bad times or whenever you need, pray to God and receive the deliverance He’ll grant you. Oftentimes, bad things happen to us because we don’t make known to Him all our anxieties and needs. So, make sure you are always being in communion with our Father and you’ll see He’ll be guiding you to awesome places; after all, those who are led by the Most High always achieve success.

The divine answer came to Moses in a vision:  a piece of tree when thrown in bitter waters would turn them into drinking waters. Upon receiving such revelation, the Hebrew leader immediately grabbed it and cast it into the water and witnessed how the Word of God was fulfilled exactly as it had been revealed. As a result, joy came over all of them and that which was worrying them ceased to be a problem.

Follow the divine directions in the same manner and the Lord shall work in your favor. Get your promised “piece of tree”, which is the Holy Scriptures and whatever is revealed to you will produce a miracle as soon as you cast it into your predicaments.
