When you cry out, let your collection of idols deliver you. But the wind will carry them all away, a breath will take them. But he who puts his trust in Me shall possess the land, and shall inherit My holy mountain.

Isaiah 57: 13

Those who worship idols and those who ask them for their favour will surely be disappointed whenever they have an issue to be sorted out. According to Isaiah there will come a day when they will look for help from Above and The Lord will tell them to turn to the collection of fake gods they had made up. Worshiping any idol is terribly repulsive to God.

Idols are not always images made out of wood, plaster or any other material, but they can even be people used by The Lord. The danger here is to turn some preachers into the absolute owners of all the answers one is looking for. In fact preachers are merely instruments of The Almighty One. You are never to give leaders you pay respect to the praise for any work they may have done. Do worship and be thankful only to The Lord.

Those people who make up their idols and serve them will be taken by the wind which blows in any direction and heads to uncertain places. And that happens to all those who go away from God. Keep an eye wide open because there is an army of demons which is expert in luring people into that kind of religious service. That is not something naive, innocent and well-intentioned but it is the very capacity of the enemy to deceive people.

Do not be carried away by vanity. Giving someone the glory of the assistance you got is all that Satan wants you to do. Not few people let themselves be carried away by such deceitful deeds. On occasion, the preacher goes over the top by asking for an offering for the work of God; yet, he or she gets too little in the end. Nevertheless, if he or she reveals to his or her audience that he or she is going through hardship there will certainly be those who will be willing to give him or her more than they have already offered The Lord.

Idolaters, those who swap The Most High for any hoax or for a preacher prove that they are not serving God. Now, those who trust only in The Lord will be well-successful. They will take possession of the promised land of The Lord. See that you have not turned anyone into your idol; but if you have you must ask God for forgiveness and then get rid of your guilt which is a victory from hell over your life.

Those who have come to the point of knowing The Gospel and then they accepted Jesus as their Saviour have become happy considering that they have gone from death to life (John 15: 24); they are born again and have become citizens of The Kingdom of Heavens. They will inherit the holy mount of prophecies and the declarations made by God found in the entire Bible. To them the divine benevolence will always be stretched out.

Do not make the mistake of swapping The Lord of The Word for the one used by Him to hand IT out to you. Only allow the spokesmen of the Most High to be nothing else but His instruments.

In Christ, with love,

R. R. Soares
