08/11/2013 - COMPLETE FORGIVENESS OF ALL SINS

In those days and in that time, says the LORD, the iniquity of Israel shall be sought, but there shall be none; and the sins of Judah, but they shall not be found; for I will pardon those whom I preserve.

Jeremiah 50:20

This is a glorious word that, just as all the revelations of the Lord, must be studied and meditated upon so that we can enjoy all that it has for us. The days the Most High refers to are the days we are living, after the Calvary, when the New Covenant was sealed. We have to understand that we have rights in Christ and therefore we do not need to be desperate for help, but rather believe in what the Holy Scriptures tell us.

What we see in this verse is that the perfect and complete forgiveness is being offered to God’s people because sin has been removed, never to be found. Now we just have to follow the directions the Lord gives us in His Word in order to get rid of whatever might be keeping us from having peace in our life. So stay firm in your faith and be free from all evil.

The power for us to be free from any sin we have committed has already been given to us. However, if you fell into some transgression, make amends with whom you have wronged. Do not hide your sin, thinking you will come out unscathed and will somehow be spared the reckoning. The truth is that he who conceals his sins will not prosper (Proverbs 28:13).

It was revealed to the apostle John that those who were in white robes, with palm branches in their hands before the Lord were those who had washed their robes in the blood of the Lamb (Revelation 7:9-10). If you do not cleanse yourself in the blood of Jesus, Satan will seek your hidden sin to accuse you day and night. Then, because of your greater error – which is to hide your wrongdoings – you will not be able to stand before the heavenly Father.

The hidden sin will not let you have peace, and your conscience will be tormented by it because it is a foreign body. Sin is like a grain of sand in the shoe. Just as the sand does not go out by itself, you have to remove whatever you did wrong from the inside, otherwise you will not be able to enjoy God’s presence and will not be accomplished in life.

Jesus taught that we must reconcile with the person we offended, dishonored or subtracted something from (Matthew 5:25). He told you to do it quickly, because if you die without having done so, you will face Judgment and will be condemned. On that day there will be no mercy. This is the time for you to go up to the person you harmed and confess to him or her all the details of what you did; after all, if you had the courage to transgress you must have the same courage to confess your transgression.

In Christ with Love,
