You shall not be terrified of them; for the LORD your God, the great and awesome God, is among you.

Deuteronomy 7: 21

The Lord God isn’t a bad strategist; on the contrary, He is actually the best One. As The Almighty planned the exodus of the children of Israel from Egypt, for instance, His plan was the best ever. He did likewise to us as we were taken out of the empire of darkness and into The Kingdom of The Lord Jesus (Colossians 1: 13). Nevertheless, we have to take a series of attitudes to take possession of our ownership in this new Kingdom. Thus, provided we follow His determinations we’ll never be defeated.

As The Lord took the Israelites out of Pharaoh’s land He was aware of their needs and of what they had to do for The Promised Land to be reached. Now, there’s not a single child of our Heavenly Father among us forgotten by Him. He called us to reach The New Land. And because of that we mustn’t give up whenever facing those temptations which come up in our spiritual journey considering that they are pretty much expected. We only have to stand firm and give no room to the devil (Ephesians 4: 27); thus, we won’t take the wrong way.

For them not to fear the trials ahead, God promised to bless His people’s food, health and even their cattle, their animals. Now, do you think we have the same promises for our lives? Oh, no! Those were for the Israelites. The gifts assured to us cannot be compared not even to the greatest of theirs but, in fact, they’re much more precious than those considering that The New Covenant stands firm on much better promises (Hebrew 8: 6). Due to that fact everything we determine today in The Name of Jesus will be done to us by The Lord Himself.

Those nations which inhabited The Promised Land were huge, numerous and fully armed; yet, even though, the people of Israel shouldn’t fear them. Our struggle isn’t against flesh or blood but against the powers of darkness (Ephesians 6: 12). Therefore, we mustn’t be afraid of them because they were already defeated by Jesus at His death. Today, at the slightest evidence of any assault from the enemy against us we only have to determine his defeat for the divine power to be put at work.

Everything that happened to The Israelites symbolised what would happen to us later on. That’s the reason why we must seek The Most High’s strategies in order for us to take over the key positions of our nation, of the business world and of the faith of the nations around the world to whom He sends us. The members of The Body of Christ are victorious upon all things and, provided they follow the direction of The Almighty, they’ll never be put to shame. Thus, we go into the battlefield knowing very well that we’ll come out victorious.

For us to enjoy the abundant life in The New Land – The Gospel ITSELF – we only need to believe in the divine mission we’re appointed to by accomplishing it. We can do all things in The One who strengthens us (Philippians 4: 13); after all, in Christ, there isn’t a “no” nor there will ever be any to His commands to us. So, undoubtedly, that’s the reason why we’re more than conquerors.

On top of that, The Lord promised The Israelites He’d perform once more the same miracles He did when they were withdrawn from Egypt. Yet, for us the promise is even greater since all those wonders God performed and are recorded in The Scriptures will be repeated for us as many times as necessary. Therefore, stand firm in faith and do the divine work with no fear at all.

In Christ, with love,

R. R. Soares
