If you fear the Lord and serve Him and obey His voice, and do not rebel against the commandment of the Lord, then both you and the king who reigns over you will continue following the Lord your God. 1 Samuel 12:14

To fear God is one of the most blessed attitudes you can have. We must present ourselves to Him as servants who are always ready to fulfill His orders, as it happened with David’s warriors when he sighed for the waters of the well of Bethlehem (1 Chronicles 11:11-18). They bring relief to those who drink it, but they are also a trial for those who were called to be next to man of God, as servants of the Lord.

It is a privilege to be a servant of the Almighty and a responsibility to be nominated by Him to do His work. We cannot act as the angels who did not keep their proper domain. Because of that, they are captive in chains of darkness, waiting for Judgment (Jude 1:6). The same will happen with those who abandon or despise their mission. Thus, do not enter in condemnation. Fulfill your commitment with praise!

We have been made servants to labor in the divine’s work, which is the most important of the Universe. God said that we should not muzzle an ox while it treads out the grain (Deuteronomy 25:4), because it should be the first to enjoy of its own production. This shows the care that the Father has for all of those who tread out the grain with Him in His work. Assume the blessings that He gives you to tread and bless other people.

We must listen to the voice of the Lord. Many times, we share the Word to others, and due to a trick of the devil, we do not pay attention to what we minister. When we minister we share our bread; being so, it is essential to pay close attention. If we are not watchful about the message of salvation, we sin. God is not equaled to the evil lords of this world, who use their employees to enrich and do not even care about their needs.

It is good to learn to respect the guidelines of the Most High and never rebel against His voice, for it is sovereign just as He is. If the Father spoke, His declaration will come true if you just believe (John 11:40). Today is the day for you to lift up your head and start serving Him in spirit and in truth. God has not blessed you only to be His spokesperson, but also to be His partner in enjoying wonders. The Lord is good to all people (Psalm 118:1)!

This must be your attitude towards your leader. Certainly, he is not used by the Most High as a slave, but as a servant that prospers and pleases Him. Be someone who is also according to God’s heart. Do not reduce Him calling Him a bad lord but preach and believe that He is true and generous. The Lord will be for you the size that you allow Him to be. Halleluiah!

As it is written on the theme verse of this message, we must follow God, and not rebel against Him. When He gives you a task, He goes ahead of you, leaving behind gifts along the way, so that you may catch them and be satisfied in what you lack.
