Psalm 7: 12

It is not that evident saying that it depends on someone to decide to accept or not The Lord. When they say “yes” to Christ it means that God had already made up His mind into giving them the opportunity to run away from eternal suffering. Those who do not take that opportunity are being extremely offensive to The Lord considering that they are rejecting the possibility of being perennially happy and, thus, getting rid of the devil’s authority over their lives too. Well, The Almighty will not deem as innocent those people who refuse His offer.

Jesus said that nobody can turn to Him if His Father does not lead them into doing so (John 14: 6). When someone is convinced of sin, of justice and of judgement that means that the work of The Holy Spirit was fully fulfilled upon their life (John 16: 8). So, despising the holy invitation is the worst foolishness that someone could ever do. Those who reject the divine offer are saying that they love sin more than the righteousness of God. Therefore, His merciless judgement is what is waiting for them on the other side.

When The Lord states, “If man does not get converted […]”, He is saying that He does not expect anybody to reject His invitation even though He is aware that, unfortunately, many will do so. It is very important to remind you that God is eager for everybody to be saved (I Timothy 2: 4) and, as a Father, He has already prepared The Heavens to welcome them in there. Yet, He will not take them there unless they get converted, and that attitude is extremely personal. And doom will be the fate of those who reject the divine offer.

The Almighty’s warning to those who reject His offer is His Sword – symbolising His Word – being sharpened. Now, The Word sent to you by The Lord – through which you feel you need to repent; and yet, out of sheer wickedness you refuse to do so – will indeed judge you on The Great Day. IT will refresh your mind on each time IT convinced you of your error and on each time, for insane reasons, you did not accept IT.

What a tragedy! One day God – The Creator of Heavens and earth, and of the whole universe, of all things that have already been unravelled and of those who are yet to come into light – although being The Almighty One, was concerned about your future and then He sent you a wise Word to convince you of your salvation; yet, you did not accept it. Therefore, God is sharpening His Sword, He is preparing it for the Judgement Day.

Perhaps, on account of some particular reason you do not feel you need any help from The Lord or that that warning does not sound to be addressed to you. I want you to know that there are many who belong to the people of God and yet they are in sin, as they believe that The Almighty One will be nice to them; some of them are even doing their ministry already. Whoever you might be, don´t allow the devil deceive you. Repent of your sins and rush back into the arms of the eternal Father!

Everything is already prepared. The mighty hand of The Lord can save you right now or you may keep on rejecting it and get lost for all eternity. Is it worth getting involved with adultery or any other kind of sinful situation as you put at stake your soul as it is likely to get lost in the end? God is not kidding!
