So you, by the help of your God, return; observe mercy and justice, and wait on your God continually.

Hosea 12:6

Every counselling that proceeds from the mouth of God is recorded in the Scriptures and they are meant to keep us from stumbling; to help us know His will and do what is necessary to take possession of what belongs to us. In His omniscience, God reveals the best way for us to tread so that we can fulfil His blessed will. Therefore, despising what He says is not a wise thing to do; after all, whatever is not good for our welfare would never come out of His mouth.
The instruction is clear: men need to convert to the Lord because those who depart from the Truth walk towards doom, which means a change of direction that is contrary to the one that leads to God. That invitation comes from the One who is love; the One who does not want us to suffer. So, if you cannot see a solution to your problems or if you lack wisdom to do the right thing, you must immediately stop what you are doing now and make the decision to walk towards the Almighty One. In case that is happening in your life, do not even consider putting off your conversion to the Lord because the enemy will do whatever it takes to lead you astray from your path so that you walk towards destruction. Do convert to God and move on firmly towards the direction appointed by Him.
Do not despise what you felt when you understood the Word of God – that love that flooded your heart; that kind attitude from the Lord that made you feel loved and accepted in the divine family. Keep that feeling within with all your faith, just like the brave ones do with their riches! That love that the Almighty One bestows on you is utterly important to keep you from the evil assaults and then when Satan comes along to tempt you, you will not fall for his cunning tricks.
You must not ignore the judgement that made you be delivered from the empire of darkness and accepted into the Kingdom of the Son of
God (Colossians 1:13). If that decision from the Heavens had not been made, you would have never managed to be set free from the devilish bondage. From now on, when the adversary comes to convince you that there is no solution for your case and that you will not be successful you must rebuke the evil one and shun his onslaughts.
The secret is to always wait on the Most High and keep the faith you had in the Lord when you heard the Gospel for the first time. This is how He makes a commitment with you to be your God. Do not let the devil take that faith from your heart because if it happens, he will also be able to take you away from the presence of the Father. Hold fast to your calling because God, who was not mistaken when He gave you faith, will never fail to fulfil the promises He made to you (Hebrews 10:23).
