For You have made him a little lower than the angels, and You have crowned him with glory and honor.

Psalm 8:5

There is one and only God who created all things, both material and spiritual. Because He is perfect and has all the capacity, He did nothing by chance as if He were playing or acting irresponsibly. Rather, He created the material world – made up of billions of galaxies, each with billions of stars – so that everything worked in perfect precision. Using His word, He created all things, little by little and provided the Earth with the necessary conditions for man to live with the Almighty in full harmony and security.
The divine plan was executed with a hundred percent perfection, but Adam – the first man – sinned by disobeying the Word of God. He opened the door for the devil to enter the world, and therefore, all things were tarnished. One day we will know, in its minutest details, why he who was created in the likeness of the Almighty committed such an insane act. If he had not transgressed the divine command, our planet and the whole universe would be beautiful. But Adam committed high treason knowingly and because of it man – who had been planned to be the image of the Lord – was dominated by passion and sin.
The fact that we were created in the likeness of the Almighty makes us think of the grandeur in which we would live. In fact, the Scriptures declare that we were crowned with glory, but sin tarnished us and we were destabilized. So, because we fell, we became slaves to sin. But God, in His mercy, devised a new plan which was fulfilled to the letter: because He wanted man by his side, He led up His Son, Jesus, to die on Calvary so that the plan of salvation could be accomplished. Now, the destructive work of sin is undone in the lives of everyone who believes in what the Savior did through His death.
We were crowned with glory and honor. With our conversion, we resumed our walk with God, and everything that we had lost with the fall is returned to us. The Word says that “Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, nor have entered into the heart of man the things which God has prepared for
those who love Him” (I Corinthians 2:9). So those who disdain the plan of salvation will miss out a lot because being next to Jesus for all eternity is beyond our comprehension. After all, with the new birth, we are more than conquerors in all things (Romans 8:37).
In Christ with love,
