Be merciful to me, O Lord, for I cry to You all day long.

Psalm 86:3

Except for the one and only God, the Creator of Heavens and Earth, there is no other source to which we can cry out. And if there was one, it would not be necessary because the Lord is absolute. Therefore, an outcry made to anyone whosoever – no matter how well-intentioned they might be – is addressed to the devil.
Well, ignoring the Word of God does not exempt anyone from being held accountable for the mistake of praying to the wrong person. It is true that the Almighty God does not take into account the sins committed during the times of ignorance, but He admonishes every one to repent at once (Acts 17:30). Well, the Lord does not answer to a prayer addressed to another being, albeit innocently. Therefore, everybody has to examine the Scriptures where they will learn that their outcry must be directed only to God (Jeremiah 29:12).
The great advantage is that the Lord is merciful. Therefore, because of his mercifulness, we can pray for Him to deal with us graciously and to answer our pleas even if – because of our lack of understanding concerning spiritual matters – He sees our incapacity to understand how His power works.
My brother, if the answer you need does not come to you, keep on crying out because one of these two things might happen: either the Lord will answer you because He knows you lack enough enlightenment to ordain your blessing or He will teach you what to do. Our Father knows how to deal with His children even though they might not be fully aware of how to take possession of their blessings appropriately. But it does not mean that we can indulge in idleness and stop studying His Word or that we can fail to pay heed to what He ministers to us because if we do such things, we will be deemed sinners for making mistakes deliberately.
Throughout the Scriptures we cannot find one single episode in which the Lord failed to answer those who turned to Him with faith. Actually, he who uses this important ingredient is enabled to cry out to the Lord and obtain a favorable answer from Him. God has never failed to fulfil any one of His promises (Hebrews 10:23 b). On the contrary, He assures us that all those who seek will find what they are looking for; those who knock will have the door opened to them and those who ask will receive (Matthew 7:7-8).
Those people who were successful in Biblical days made it because of the faith they used. In fact, faith always wins; it is a statement made by the Lord according to which we are ready to receive what He declares to be ours. It was by faith – and by faith only – that the biblical heroes achieved so many victories (Hebrew 11) and the same will happen to us.
God had the pleasure of turning us into His people. When He sent Jesus to die in our place, He knew the pain Christ would suffer. Nonetheless, our heavenly Father gave His Only Son in order for each one of us to achieve salvation and to be welcomed by Him with joy, provided we leave the empire of darkness and give ourselves to the Savior.
In Christ, with love,
