Have mercy on me, O Lord, for I am weak; O Lord, heal me, for my bones are troubled.  Psalm 6.2

If we want to live in holiness and please the Lord, then we must overcome the battles of life, which often, leave us weakened. No matter how hard we strive to remain exempt in relation to other people´s fault, not always we succeed; so then, the attitude of many people in whom we trusted, simply devastates us. It is so sad to prepare someone to serve God and, afterwards, see this person head towards the wide door, like Demas did ( 2 Tim 4:10).

In any situation of discomfort in which you feel that you did not act good or did not rebuke the right way that person who was deviating, you must enter into prayer and tell the Lord everything. After you cry out, wait, for, at the same moment or some time later, He will guide you in the Word. Once you have the divine direction, just act like you were told. It is better to blush for a moment than to feel guilty for all your life.

Never blame yourself for someone else´s sin, unless you have caused such wrong attitude. However, if you have avoided a great loss, thank God for having spared you and kept you safe from a fall that would make you suffer a lot. Each one will be seasoned with fire (Mark 9:49), that is why you have been “taken to the desert” to be tempted by the devil. However, since you did not fall, rejoice for having passed the test.

It is better to be ridiculed than play hero and get involved with the evil one, for the devil is behind every temptation, never the Lord (James 1:13). If you have fallen, confess to God and get things right with Him. However, if you have only been tempted, even if you have been the spark of the situation, the fact that you did not give in proves that God was with you and kept you safe.  Then, celebrate, for the divine hand will continue over your life.

The instruction in any situation of weakness is to pray asking for mercy and, certainly the Lord will answer you promptly. Therefore, don’t let your heart remain weak, making up a bunch of stories and making you blame other people. Instead, fight to strengthen yourself and do what God has told you. The Bible says that Jesus was tempted in all things, however, he did not give in to any of the devil´s offers (Heb 4:15).

Those who commit a mistake have to confess it to God, and later, give it back multiplied, telling the truth to the one who was deceived. By acting this way, you will deliver your soul from the deceiver, which made you fall into his snares by using a trick with your permission. More than a good attitude, getting rid of the oppressor is a duty to be fulfilled for their own good, by those who fell into error.

If your structures are troubled, you might develop behaviors or diseases you would never like to have; therefore, ask the Lord to heal you and follow His instructions. Even if the scenario is of great difficulty, don’t lose heart, for, just like weakness brings ailments, the firmness in the work God accomplished in you will deliver you from the enemy.

In Christ, with love,

Lord, the restorer! Many times the battles of life contaminate us with sadness and even sinful actions. Therefore, our structures become weak and, when we least expect, things that disturb us a lot take place.

We come before Your presence to ask for healing and the solution to these weaknesses that don’t allow us to live like You desire. Our moral, spiritual and physical foundations have become weak and troubled, but we don’t ever want to embarrass You.

Have mercy of our life and heal our structure. Don’t leave us without Your peace and love. Help us and transform us according to Your will. We need to be strong in order to fulfill Your beautiful plan. Amen!
