But you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God dwells in you. Now if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he is not His.

Romans 8:9

One of the attitudes that all godly people are to take is to strive not to live in the flesh. Those who live in the natural realm do not have the joy of The Lord; they neither have the power to overcome the devil’s assaults nor can they enjoy the blessings reserved only for those who truly walk with The Lord.

Those who are in the flesh live their lives craving for the ungodly appeals, and on account of that they may fall at each temptation that is surely coming up. On top of that, they like to be recognized as “the big shot”; they do not accept being valued less than they deem they ought to and, out of envy, greed and other such evil desires, they are capable of sacrificing themselves in doing those things they call “serving God”. My brother, if you wish to be pleasant to The Lord you have to live in The Spirit, without vanity. Thus, you will rejoice the heart of your Father.

Unfortunately, there are many Christians whose lives The Spirit of God does not dwell in. Those people are dangerous considering that the unwary might put their trust in the former since they have declared themselves as “servants of The Lord”. Yet, they will soon realize that they have been putting their trust in the wrong person. We ought to only trust in those who follow the steps of Christ; after all, those who walk in line with the counselling of Heavens do not go on with their lives indulging in the pleasures of the ungodly, but in the divine glory instead.

Allowing The Spirit of The Lord to dwell in your heart is the best decision you can ever make, considering that He will never lead you into taking attitudes against the divine will, but He will guide you in all The Truth (John 16: 13); having The Holy Spirit dominating your life you will get to master better The Word of God, and you will become stronger and bold to believe in The Most High and, finally, you will stand out as someone who, in fact, trusts and really serves The Only One God.

What a danger it is for someone to be certain that something is coming from The Lord, when in fact it is not. In the verse above the Apostle Paul is straightforward: those who do not have The Spirit of Christ – The Holy Spirit – do not belong to the divine herd. Therefore, look into yourself and if you happen to find out that you do not have Him by your side you must seek His fullness, because those who do not belong to The Lord will sadly stay here, on the earth, when He is back to seek His people.

The Holy Spirit is The Seal through which we have been made divine ownership. In fact, those who have Him are identified as the people who belong to The Lord. That means that the devil might even tempt them, but he will never be able to possess them on one go since he knows that he will end up being burnt if he ever tries it. That is the reason why you must do all you can not to grieve The Spirit of God because if He turns away from your life your former tenant will come back bringing along seven more of his evil companions.

Be filled up with The Holy Spirit and overcome any battle. All child of God is to be overflowing with The Holy Anointing. Just like the first apostles were full of That Spirit you can be so as well. Therefore, if your vessel is filled up there will be no room for anything ungodly there.

Stay away from danger! Turn to The Lord and ask Him for the fullness of His Spirit.
